KAISER Cafe — Restaurant in Berlin

Today I ordered for the first time and I was left a bit disappointed. I was supposed to get the Caligula sandwich and what I got had nothing to do with the description or the photo I saw in the wolt app. The only common thing between what I ordered and what I got was the bread and the rocket. And the delivered sandwich had a tiny bit of Parmesan (which was not supposed to be the case) as well as some spread (that I have no clue what was it). But nothing more. However in the description there was a bunch of ingredients in a seemingly big and fulfilling sandwich. Paying 10€ for this poor sandwich is definitely not cool and I would not risk to order again.

Nevertheless I have to admit that the products seemed to be very fresh and everything was tasty although it was not what I asked for or in general a VFM order.

Another portion that I got (which was not a sandwich) was quite decent amount...

Bad service. Owners of this establishment, you need to take a masterclass from your neighbors on how to work with customers. I waited more than 15 minutes for a sandwich and a cappuccino on the lunch time. During that time, your competitor, Lap Coffee, served 8 people! Your waiter brought coffee in a paper cup and the sandwich after 15 minutes, and when I asked why it took so long and why the coffee was “to go,” I was told that it’s normal and that they didn’t know what I wanted. Locale fantastico, in perfetto stile italiano, ma con un tocco unico: cerca di racchiudere due culture – quella italiana e quella tedesca – in un mix riuscitissimo di panini, pinse e smoothie.

Gli smoothie sono freschissimi e fatti al momento, perfetti per una pausa sana e gustosa. L’espresso è sorprendentemente buono, come nei migliori bar italiani. Forse avrebbe potuto essere ancora più ristretto, ma siamo in Germania e già così è sopra la media!

I panini sono una vera delizia: ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità, abbinati a salse originali che rendono ogni morso speciale. Una vera chicca sono le creme spalmabili, pensate anche per soddisfare il palato tedesco che ama un tocco cremoso nel panino: crema al tartufo, crema di carciofi, crema di noci – un’idea geniale.

Ho assaggiato il panino con pomodoro, mozzarella e prosciutto crudo, e il panino Julius. Complimenti per la qualità del prosciutto crudo, la freschezza della mozzarella e la deliziosa crema di noci!

Anche la pinsa merita una menzione speciale: impasto leggero e fragrante, con una salsa di pomodoro speziata al punto giusto, equilibrata e adatta a tutti i gusti.

In vetrina ho notato anche dei cannoli che sembrano deliziosi – la prossima volta li proverò sicuramente!
