Decent coffee and cake\small bite selections. Both can be had for better elsewhere within 100m but would have got a decent 4* rating because the coffee is the right temperature and is fairly tasty at least. Milk is a bit foamy for my taste but others may disagree. Excellent WiFi. Two main reasons for the 3* rating and not 4* is 1) No air-conditioning (not a big deal for 9 months of the year as they have outside space on the street) but for the other 3 months......and 2) That they charged me an extra 5% for credit card use. Really? In this day and age after the last 2 years we have all had to still prefer cash and charge extra if you don't pay by cash is, in my opinion, unforgivable....you may all disagree though so..... There are dozens, if not more, cafés in this area which are as good and better so I won't necessarily be coming here again unless one of my favourites, 19 Gramms opposite, is too full and I am desperate. Grudgingly recommended with the caveats...
Read moreTaking in consideration where Karaca Coffee is placed and that every time I pass the area the place is quite full, I expected the food to be worth a try. I ordered online a breakfast menu together with a portion of scrambled eggs. Unfortunately the eggs were completely impossible to eat due to having a smell such as of spoilt food, the breakfast menu contained some bread, cheese, some veggies (tomatoes, cucumber) and ham. The menu had dried vegetables, instead of fresh ones, considering that is implied thru the descriptive texts at the Caffè that they serve fresh breakfast and lunch. The rest of the ingredients were quite dry, especially the bread. I'm not recommending it as I believe that the look of the place and the number of people visiting it do not make the bad quality of food to be...
Read moreThe coffee was very good. That is the positive part. For the rest: the restaurant was not open on time,.. and once the owner arrives, he gets angry at his coworkers (2 young girls) that they didnt call him. If you are a MAN you should take that blame 100% on yourself, not on others. The personell all walk around with a sad face like they just returned from a funeral :-( ; the actual prices of the drinks/food are about 40% (!) higher than mentioned on their website. All the articles you order are put on the counter which you must pick up yourself. They don’t serve it out. It COULD be a great place, if it was not soo indifferent, if they spread out some joy and motivation...
