Listo — Restaurant in Berlin

In the late evening after dinner on the 26th in May 2023, we were very delighted with the delicious fancy cocktails 🍹🍸 presented by the manager of the restaurant and his assistant. That evening was sparking evening which topped on everything during our stay this time in Hilton Berlin.

We stayed along with our business, and we actually are heading to Berlin again due to business, and we surely stay longer to dive into the taste of fantastic cocktails.

So, what happened on that night?! Here, in Berlin, the traditional German dinner can be heavy. So had a wish what if I get to some digestive to wrap up the taste of dinner, but not too strong and not too biting with the high portion of alcohol.

And more refreshing and somehow bitter, would be great .. I said.. But, I immediately thought ‘oh no~, I’d better choose sth from the list, i might look like I don’t know what I want or ask too much…

but… WoW 🤩 ! Then the boss like a super man told me, let me present sth for you! — yes 🙌 please!! I love when people become passionate and enthusiastic in an elegant manner!

I saw some herbs like peppermint, and something and something in a magic portion went into the blender, then boom boom Bang!

When it arrived onto then into my palate, that was pairing with my awaiting. Very healthy and just genuine and so exotic as well.

OVERPRICED! Me And My Mum Only Had Drinks And A ORANGE JUICE Was Like 10€ And A Cocktail Was 17€. It Costed Us 27€ For Two Drinks! FOR TWO DRINKS! Nothing Special Either. Not A Limited Time Or Stock NOTHING! The Drinks Weren't Bad They Were Just Stupidly Expensive! (I could buy like 4 sides in a restaurant for that) A Complete Rip! Es ist nicht alles Gold, was in der Vergangenheit mal geglänzt hat. Das trifft mittlerweile auch auf den 2-Gänge Mittags Lunch zu. Zur Vorspeise gab es eine Erbsen Minze Suppe mit Wasabi. Durchaus lecker, die Minze war dezent zu schmecken. Zur Hauptspeise folgte eine geschmorte Rinderbrust mit Reis und einer Möhre als Beilage. Die Rinderbrust war fettig und zäh wie ein Fußballspiel von Hertha BSC. Die Hälfte des Stückes war ungenießbar und musste auf dem Teller bleiben. Der Service war freundlich und herzlich. Zusammen mit der Vorspeise gibt es deshalb 3 Punkte. Negativ war ebenfalls, dass es 45 Minuten gedauert hat, bis die Vorspeise kam. Definitiv zu lange und eher ein Beweis, für einen suboptimalen Arbeitsablauf in der Küche. Wir waren in den letzen Jahren immer wenn wir in Berlin waren, zum Lunch in der Listo Lounge und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Heute dafür umso mehr. Die Bedienung war wirklich bemüht und wollte eine Alternative anbieten. Das fand ich von der Mitarbeiterin wirklich souverän. Es betraf nur mich, da meine Begleitung sich für die Ravioli entschieden hatte. Da wir im Anschluss einen Termin im Hotel de Rome hatten, mussten wir dies ablehnen. Regulär kostet das Zwei Gänge Menü inklusive einem Glas Wein und einem Expresso 32 Euro pro Person. Bei der Qualität des heutigen Lunches (12. Juli 2023) gibt es am Gendarmenmarkt durchaus empfehlenswertere Alternativen und Angebote am Mittag. Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn die Qualität des heutigen Lunches ein Einzelfall bliebe....
