Seeing credible information that they have hired a law firm to help them purge negative reviews. (I imagine they will try to purge this one.)

Update: They are claiming they are removing "fake reviews" but I don't find that credible. Perhaps they'd like to share their process for selecting which reviews they try to have removed?

Further update: They are now trying to remove this review, along with many others (I think inadvertently I got a whole list of the user names they want reviews removed from.) They all look like this, but with various names: "Es besteht keine Geschäftsbeziehung mit dem Google-Nutzer Dean Eckles. Es handelt sich vermutlich um einen Fake-Namen. In diesem Zusammenhang darf ich Sie gemäß der Rechtssprechung vom 25.10.2011 – VI ZR 93/10 (BGH) auffordern, diesen Verstoß zu erforschen und ggf. mit dem Verfasser der Bewertung Kontakt aufzunehmen und die Rezension von „Dean Eckles“ zu löschen, wenn der Rezensent nicht gegenteiliges nachweist."

The photo shows another example of a review they are trying to get removed. (I removed this photo because Google unposted my review. Seemed like a credible 2-star review by someone with other reasonable-looking reviews.)

I have the relationship of trying to decide whether to go to this restaurant but realizing they are manipulating their reviews on a large scale. This kind of intimidation and distortion of the marketplace should be rejected...

I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant, and I can't stop raving about their meatballs with smashed potato hot sauce. Felix, one of the friendly and attentive staff members, made the experience even more delightful. The dish was a true masterpiece. This was my first time here. It’s a tiny place where you order at the counter, pay, and then sit at your table until your food is ready. The staff was smiley and polite and I paid with a 15% tip. They asked me where I will sit and I said I’ll sit outside.

The problem was that 20 minutes passed and still no food. I finally went in to check after I saw people arrive after us getting theirs. Our plates were just sitting at the counter waiting as if their job was done by placing them there. It was very annoying and tainted the whole experience. I regret having left a tip.
