I just had a bad experience here. Firstly the staff doesn't speak English. They didn't even think to bring me the menu in English even if I spoke clear English to them. I had to request it separately when they finally noticed me trying to get their attention.
They don't know what vegan means. In 2023 and in Berlin! I ordered summer rolls with tofu and said several times I want them vegan. They served it to me with eggs. Even when I explained "Eier ist nicht vegan", they were confused. I had to say "kein ei/egg" to make them understand. They brought the summer rolls back to me and now one of the sauces was missing (probably had eggs in it) but they didn't replace it with any other sauce. A proper restaurant would. The summer rolls were very very tasteless.
My main dish was and bland and tasteless as well. As basic vegetables and tofu with rice as ever. Felt more like cheap street food.
The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Some points for that.
They have a vegan restaurant next to the normal one so if you're vegan you can probably be satisfied there. If you're a mixed group of vegans and omnivores do yourselves a favour and please don't come here. The vegans will be very...

Read moreHave had several disappointing experiences with service and food mistakes that have made this a less than enjoyable restaurant to go to. Last night was a good example. Ordered a fried rice dish with bok choy, king oyster mushrooms and pepper made vegan with tofu as listed on the menu. Instead received rice with carrots, zucchini and egg. When I let the waiter know the order was wrong he looked at me with mild annoyance and asked if I want “extra bok choy and mushrooms”. I said no, I wanted my original dish that I ordered. There was so much commotion between him and other waiters and the kitchen about this request that I just told them to forget it and finished up my appetizers and went home hungry to eat toast. This was after I waited quite a while for my dish while the rest of our 6 person party managed to nearly finish their food. I didn’t get any sort of apology or clear effort to make things right so I’d have something to eat.
The food I have eaten has been Good or Ok. Nothing that’s worth this...
