Onkel Le Restaurant — Restaurant in Berlin

Very positive experience. The restaurant was packed but the service was quick. The staff is polite, welcoming and reactive (which is rather an exception in Germany). It is well decorated, dim light, it is lively but not loud at all. Now most importantly: the food. We had a sushi set to start. They were Freshly made, moist and not fishy. On point! We had salmon with shrimps and the beef/tofu grill plate as mains. Salmon was nicely done and seasoned - not dry at all. Particularly appreciated that the sauce was served separately. The salad and shrimps/fish could have been more flavorful though. Missing a touch of spice and would have loved more mint and coriander. Last but not least: value for money...

Went here with a group of six — half of us love trying new things, the other half usually stick to the classics. Honestly, everyone left happy. The menu has plenty of choice, from bold and spicy dishes to more mild options. The adventurous eaters loved exploring the flavors, and the “classic” eaters found dishes they really enjoyed too.

We were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived and were allocated a nice table. Service and atmosphere are great, there is a variety of dishes, but I can especially recommend sushi (mixed). The place is beautifully decorated and the owners are one of the nicest and sweetest people I've met. They asked if everything was ok and made the service perfect. The restrooms were clean.
