Do NOT order Shio. Its soup is tasteless like water. Even though "Shio" means "Salt" in Japanese, I didn't taste anything in the supposed salted soup. I know it is hard to get chicken bones for brooth in Germany, that's why not many ramen places offer Shio Ramen. I suggest you guys simply delete Shio from your menu. The Tempura is the best part, but half of it was in the soup, it is better served separately. The noodle is chewy, nice. Marinating sauce is great - that mean Chicken and bamboo shoots are fine. Aji-Tamago is ok but in my opinion overcooked for 20-30 seconds, however I guess Germans won't like their eggs too rare. And they don't offer Cha-su, big no no if you charge me that much. Conclusion: I would go to Cocolo if I want a ramen. Although Cocolo's quality is getting worse, it is still cheaper than this store. I expect better when I pay over 10 Euro for ramen. I like the store, it's stylish and hippy, but I am sorry that I will not come again. P.S. I didn't try the other flavours, I guess it would be slightly better than Shio. But over 10 Euro for such thing… No. And check out those 1-3 stars comments, they are right and you should take notes from them.

Dear Takumi NINE Team I want to express my sincere admiration for the exceptional experience I had at your restaurant. From start to finish, every aspect of my visit was outstanding. The ambiance perfectly blended traditional and modern Japanese aesthetics, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The commitment to authenticity was evident not only in the decor but especially in the incredible taste of your dishes. Special kudos to your staff. They were not only knowledgeable and attentive but also incredibly friendly. Their enthusiasm for Japanese cuisine was infectious and significantly contributed to my positive experience. The focus on quality ingredients and expert preparation was evident in every bite, making each dish a culinary delight. Your diverse menu showcased the breadth of Japanese cuisine at its finest. I appreciate the excellence within the framework of your culinary offerings. My visit exceeded expectations, and I look forward to returning soon to indulge in these delicious delights. The energy was really good & i‘ll definitely come back. Best regards, Gin ;)

This is just the real deal . Had the first takumi ramen in on of their shops in Düsseldorf, so I was delighted to find out they open up another brench (actually 2) in Berlin. Very well done. They know how to keep their standards. Much appreciated. Tender, juicy and crispy chicken with a not to heavy and complimenting broth. Crispy veggie tempura. And an open ramen kitchen where you can see the master doing his thing. For European standards the seating is a little tight when you sit inside with a person next to you, but hey . . . I guess it's authentic. Then that's more or less the same setting as in Japan. Paying by card is an option which I value for convince reason alot. Doumo arigatou

It pains me to write this review of what used to be my favorite ramen in town.

The place has changed significantly over the last year or so. Possibly under a new management, simplifying the menu from what it used to be, moving away from authenticity to more of a "crowd pleaser" territory of saltier broths. While the noodles and many toppings such as teriyaki chicken or fried chicken (Nanban) haven't changed in their essentials, the broth significantly has. The broth isn't what it used to be, no matter what ramen you get. This is possibly because of the move to strictly chicken based cooking for a more inclusive customer appeal. The broth lacks body and depth and is over compensated by salt. (I can't believe I'm writing this about Takumi Neun 😢)

Same goes for all the vegan options. It once used to be the kind of vegan ramen with no compromise on flavor but they've dropped the ball on this one.

Predictability used to be the Hallmark of Takumi, never a disappointing experience (I've dined here 50+ times) but lately the broth tastes different every time I try it.

Takumi Neun has been dethroned by its own doing. There's now room at the top when it comes ramen...
