There were only two options for lunch: pork or mushrooms. A dream menu if you're a medieval peasant — or just someone who doesn’t eat pork, like me. So, mushrooms it is. For the very reasonable price of 12 euros, I received three sad, greasy mushrooms and two miniature “salads” — one just some leaves, the other a nostalgic throwback to the 90s, drowned in mayonnaise. Honestly, the green one was the only thing remotely edible. I was really hungry. It’s a rainy day, I did my morning workout, I work full-time — I came in genuinely hoping for a warm, nourishing meal. Instead, I paid to feel worse than before. If the goal was to make people question their life choices — you nailed it. Otherwise, maybe try thinking about actual humans, not just your profit. UPDATE AFTER OWNER'S REPLY: Dear friendly team, thank you for your condescending recap — I see the irony isn't missing on your side. Just to clarify: I didn’t expect a Michelin-level for 12€, I expected something edible. And the fact that you openly admit your business lunch isn’t made to actually feed people says more than you think. If you don’t want hungry, working humans to order from you — maybe put a sign: “not for people with real appetites or real lives”. Or simply show some basic empathy instead of blaming guests for trusting your menu. Thank you for confirming my impression. I won’t make the mistake of walking in again. Best, Alina

Nomad was a wonderful experience! My friend and I were visiting Berlin for the first time. We chose to have breakfast at Nomad for our last meal together before flying out. Nomad is beautifully designed; the interiors are clean, open, bright and airy. It lends itself very well to meetings, coffee catch-ups and any conversation built for connection. We opted to sit outside as the weather was perfect for Al fresco dining. The menu was well designed, clean and thoughtful as it was both in German and English. The options were balanced, there is something for everyone but not too overwhelming. It seemed they did few things, very well. We both opted for the Smashed Avo- which did not disappoint! Service made a small mistake initially- of serving us a Shakshuka- but this was quickly rectified by the kitchen. Thank you! The ingredients were exemplary; bread and leaves were fresh, eggs cooked to perfection! And the portion size was just right. Careful use of herbs and spices, used to garnish and enliven the palate. Prices were decent per person and reflected well in portion size. You get quality for what you pay for! Nomad is definitely equipped to impress for both breakfast and dinner! (I would love to come back and visit for dinner) Thank you Nomad! :)

Nomad Berlin is a charming restaurant located in the heart of the trendy Berlin district. I recently visited for breakfast and was thoroughly impressed by the quality and variety of the food on offer. The menu is a mix of classic brunch dishes with a Mediterranean twist, and there's something for everyone. I opted for the shakshuka, which was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. The eggs were nestled in a rich tomato sauce with chunks of feta cheese, making for a delicious and filling meal. My friend went for the avocado toast, which was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The bread was toasted to perfection and topped with a generous amount of creamy avocado, smoked salmon, and a perfectly poached egg. The coffee was also exceptional, with rich and bold flavors that complemented the food perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rustic interior made for a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend Nomad Berlin for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying brunch experience. The quality of the food, combined with the warm and welcoming atmosphere, make for a truly memorable dining experience. #Dishtapproved

We visited this morning and are very underwhelmed. My partner ordered the sweet pancakes that were lovely but stone cold, this might have been ok for some but personal preference for warm pancakes. I ordered the beef breakfast burger, the first of which was raw in the middle. Not just a little pink (which I like) but actually like raw mince. The replacement took a very long time, my partner wasn’t offered to have his remade so we could eat together and so I ate alone over ten minutes after my partner had finished his food. When my second meal arrived we ordered another round of drinks which never arrived. The burger was lovely but the cold pickled onions on the bottom were not to my taste at all. After I had finished eating we waited a while and no one approached the table, so we approached the bar to ask for the bill and was rather impolite told, with a finger point, to pay over there. We told the waiter the second round of drinks never arrived, he was lovely and very apologetic, but it would appear our drinks would never arrive as they hadn’t been put on our order. The food was pleasant but nothing outstanding, have definitely had nicer breakfast whilst in a Berlin and at a much better price point. Decoration, cleanliness and space...
