Unique and very tasty Sudanese food (my first time having it)! The owner is so so friendly and you can tell he really prides himself with the food he prepares for you. Even before ordering, he checked with me about my allergies and spice tolerance, before letting me try his homemade sauces and dips (his mango vegetable sauce was AMAZING - so fresh and it complemented the flavours of the salad well)! Very generous portions of meat and falafel, which were cooked fresh and really tasty too (though the peanut sauce was very rich, and I couldn’t finish it). Ambiance was wonderful, with 80s-90s music playing (which is very much up my alley). It took me a while to find the store at first, as it doesn’t have a huge name sign, but it’s definitely worth the time to come here. On a separate note, the restaurant does accept credit card payment, and the restrooms were very well maintained (little bit of a squeeze to get there). Overall, highly recommend this place - for the great food, and extremely friendly owner! I will be back when I’m back in Berlin!

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying an open buffet event for Zalando and were thoroughly impressed. Our sincerest thanks go out to Chef Ahmed Abas, whose dedication and professionalism shone through in every dish he prepared. The homemade Middle Eastern cuisine was nothing short of exceptional, and we were left with a lasting impression of the chef's culinary expertise. We highly recommend Ahmed Abas and his team to anyone seeking an authentic and delightful dining experience at a very reasonable price.

I will be looking for a sudanese restaurant in Antwerp! Great food and service - a must visit on your Berlin trip. We wanted to ask for a suggestion for something small to eat as we already ate a little. Before we could even ask we got to taste the different sauces, the peanut sauce and aubergine were really flavourful! We had a mixed plate with chicken, kofta, grilled veggies and halloumi served by a very friendly and proud owner, and rightfully so! This place is a definite recommendation!

I frequently come here for lunch, to both dine in and take away. The place never disappointed me so far and I will keep coming back for more. The food is delicious considering this is a fast food type of place, and somewhat unusual compared to others. The service person is one of the friendliest people I've met. They will happily accommodate your requests, and are very approachable with a nice sense of humor. The owner is a never ending source of smiles, jokes and positive energy. The food is served fast, and you can grab a free donut if you want. They also spice up the dishes if you ask. A regular dish would cost you around 8-11 Euro. They do not accept card payments. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to grab a quick and...

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Omdur! The food was out of this world — every dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and truly showcased the richness of Sudanese street food. The restaurant itself was spotless, with everything kept impeccably clean and welcoming.

The service was exceptional — 100/100! You could feel the genuine care and attention in every interaction. The owner radiates positivity and passion, creating an atmosphere that’s not only warm but also incredibly uplifting. The overall vibes were simply amazing — you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back. Omdur is a true gem that everyone...
