Pasta & Basta — Restaurant in Berlin

This is a very cozy authentic Italian restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed. The waiter was tri-lingual (maybe more - but we spotted him conversing in Italian, English and German) which was impressive and made us feel very welcome. The menu selection was very good, focussing on pasta, risotto, meat and seafood, but no pizza - which was actually nice for a change. We had a reasonable selection of Italian wine to choose from, and the wine we chose at the 30euro price point was very smooth. Delicious food and also a great selection of different authentic italian dishes for a reasonable price! They also have a lot of fresh homemadedaily specials available. Wouldve maybe liked more than 3 Risotto options but nevertheless they were delicious. Also lots of wines and nice Wodka Sorbets etc for desert:) lastly the staff were extremely jolly and made me and my friend instantly feel extremely welcome and happy that we chose Pasta&Basta over the other countless italian etc resteraunts in the area. I was here half a year ago, and I would have ranked it at 5 stars. However, I was there recently and ordered the carbonara, and the overall quality wasn't as good as before.
