We ordered cocktails, however the bartender doesn't have the slightest clue as to how to make cocktails. My wife ordered a p...star martini and has given a glass with passionfruit juice and a shot of martini. This is not how this cocktail is made, this is the receipe for it: 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka 1/2 ounce passion fruit liqueur (such as Passoã or De Kuyper) 1 ounce passion fruit puree 1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed 1/2 ounce vanilla simple syrup 2 ounces sparkling wine, chilled Garnish: 1/2 passion fruit, fresh Although the name has Martini in it, it doesn't actually contain martini...

I ordered a s.... b.... and was given a shot of vodka and a bottle of bitter lemon.... this is not how you make this cocktail: Ice Cubes 1⅓ Parts Absolut Vodka 5 Parts Soda Water ½ Part Lime Juice 1 Wedge Lime it is vodka, It doesn't contain sugar which bitter lemon does.

Please find another bartender that can actually mix drinks as you cannot ask top price for cocktails and serve something that even the corner späti sells better in a bottle for 1/10 of the price you charge. Other than that, the location is nice, but that's all that...

Waited 20 mins outside to be served. Noone showed up, went inside, was told with an eye roll to go outside and wait. Waited another 10, ordered a coffee and some eggs. Coffee took 30 minutes. Then I was asked something by another waiter and I said - sorry I don't speak any German - in my nicest voice at which he replied loudly 'oh sorry sorry for speaking German in my own country' he then asked if I had been served and I said yes but that was over half an hour ago. Then the poached eggs finally arrived, both rock hard, then as I was about to eat one a glass on my table mysteriously exploded showering my food with glass (this was completely wierd and I do not blame anyone). Glass went into my food so they were good enough to take it and make more eggs. The following eggs Benedict (which took ten mins) were very good. Long story short, it took a long time, and the food may or may not be good at the end, but the view and the setting was good. As im learning more and more Berlin does not have a good service based industry, and everyone is miserable. I've also been overcharged for 75% of my meals, all at different places...

Service needs some work. First the waitress motioned at was from across the floor and when we didn't answer she yelled "Do you want to order?" She took the order but when they brought out our drinks we noticed they cut the drinking straws. The ends was jagged and the straws was so short it fell into the drinks.

Then they brought our food out super fast only to realize that it's not even our order. When our order did arrive we realized that there was no fork on the table. We called one of the servers over complained about the straws and told her we don't have forks. She got upset and dropped the cutlery on the table and walked away.

The manager then came out with paper straws and we told him the issue we had with the straws. He basically told us to relax cause it's a nice day and the guys at night usually cut them nice but that day they probably rushed it.

All in all the food was ok. I ordered waffles but I think they need to change the recipe because there was wayyy to much eggs in there and it wasn't even fluffy. My brother ordered a fruit bowl...

Nice location with good coffee and a view of the water. Lady behind the counter was quite rude for whatever reason and the whole ordering / paying process is unnecessarily convoluted. You can't order at the counter; you have to take a seat and wait for a server to find you and take your order. We later went back inside to pay after sitting there for a while but were told very strictly that we could only pay via the person who had taken our order, who had been MIA since we first spoke to her. This meant a third member of staff had to track down our server just so that we could pay. It's a small cafe; why not just let us order / pay at the counter instead of making us stand around / sit outside for ages waiting for our server to reappear? Drama aside, €5 for a coffee also felt expensive, especially given the machine asks for a tip when paying with card.

A disappointing experience in a beautiful location. This place is worth visiting only in the summer, when you can enjoy the restaurant’s garden while drinking coffee or a drink. However, both the food and service are below expectations. The staff only brought us our breakfast after we told them we couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. It turned out that our food had been waiting in the kitchen for some time and was served to us when it was already cold. The food was simply unpalatable. There are dozens of much better restaurants and cafes in Berlin. This one is not worth wasting time on.

We went here for a brunch. The space is lovely and the outdoor seatings are incredible - good views of water and museum island. However, the stuff was simply rude. Answering a comment that we had three dishes and if the third one is coming, the waiter told us that he has only two hands as we can see and we have to wait. And oh yes we waited - over 30 min for a cup of coffee and over hour and a half for two eggs. Once so anticipated eggs arrived, they were simply cold and covered in mayonnaise which just overwritten the taste of salmon and baby spinach. Big disappointment!
