If you find yourself at Markthalle Neun, do yourself a favour and stop by Sironi for some truly delicious homemade pizza. At just €5 per slice, it's not only tasty but also a great value, especially for the quality.

We tried both the Salamino and the Margherita slices and asked them to warm them up and cut them into three so we could share. The staff were super friendly and happy to do it for us. Both pizzas were absolutely bursting with flavour — the Salamino had just the right amount of spice and richness from the cured meat, while the Margherita was simple but so well executed, with a fresh tomato base, melted mozzarella, and that perfect chewy-crispy crust that only comes from good dough and a proper oven.

You can really tell this is authentic, handmade pizza with quality ingredients and care in the preparation. The dough was a standout for us — light, airy, and just the right amount of char on the bottom. It’s the kind of pizza that doesn’t need a pile of toppings to impress.

Definitely a highlight of our visit to the market and something I’d come back for again without hesitation. If you're at Markthalle Neun and wondering what to eat, Sironi is...

The focaccia is pretty good but the staff is absolutely rude. Got told off by what I am assuming was the store manager just because I asked what was inside one of the unlabeled focaccias. Apparently some people are too grand and think they are more important than the rest of the staff so they cannot interact with you. Apologies, oh great lord for lowering your status to a point where you had to be nice to a customer. Definitely not returning there, would rather overpay for focaccia somewhere where people are nice to...

On our visit to Markthalle 9 we became aware of the great choice of breads at Sironi. It took a while to order/buy something, since the queue was endlessly long. Once it was our turn, we decided for a 1/4 of Dinkelbrot. The lady serving us was quick, but not too friendly (probably stressed). Back home we tried the bread immediately and I must say that it was really tasty and had a rich flavor. So definitely worth trying! However, 3,50€ for a quarter of bread (essential food) is...

We stopped by Markthalle Neun to get a taste of local life 🤩 I couldn't help but notice people queuing up for this pizza by the slice, and oh my goodness, it was delicious! Freshly prepared, simple and aaah🤤 Alsooo, I only drink rhubarb lemonade, eat rhubarb desserts, and even drink rhubarb wine when I'm in Germany 🤤 I adore anything rhubarb
