We came here for our final meal before leaving Berlin and after reading previous comments we were looking forward to our food. We did not have a reservation but we're welcomed in and seated quickly.
Both my partner and I ordered steak and chips and I also had the bernaise sauce.
Food came fairly quickly however I had requested my steak as medium well however it came out rare so it had to be sent back. After about 10 minutes I had to chase my food up as the waiters were avoiding our table and my partner had pretty much finished his food.
The food portions were small and my partner's chips were not even cooked properly, so even though the steak was nice, we left hungry.
When we asked for the bill, we were shocked the waiter couldn't be bothered to count out our change and threw a couple of notes down on the table next to my partner (we were short changed). When we didn't leave the expected tip, because they had already short changed us, the waiter was very rude and rolled his eyes.

I have a hunch that medium would have been perfect for me there, but not so in the US, where I always medium is overdone. I asked for “medium rare,” but that turned out too rare, too raw inside. I didn’t ask them to toss it back on the grill as the steak was really tasty even raw! This is a classy steakhouse, and my experience is that, in such a place, they’ll do a new one for you if it’s too done. (In my case, I feared it would become overdone, my sending it, and then I’d have to go on to ask for a new one, when it was basically acceptable the way it was.) I was doubtless in a good mood in part because the service was so good. The glass of Argentinian red that I had with the meat and mushrooms was excellent. Read moreWe visited this restaurant near our hotel for dinner. Despite it being crowded on a Friday evening, they quickly arranged a table for us. Ordering from the English menu was very convenient. We started with garlic bread and salad, both of which were fresh and delicious. The drinks were specially prepared and tasted great.
I ordered the Black Angus tenderloin, cooked medium well, and it was exactly as I wanted. The children ordered the fitness platter, which featured beef tenderloin strips with stir-fried vegetables, and they loved it. They also had a cheeseburger, which they enjoyed just as much.
We were very satisfied with both the service and the food. It would be nice if the restaurant had air conditioning, but we gradually got used to it. For meat lovers, this is a great spot for a pleasant dinner. With all the doors and windows open, it didn’t get too hot. And the prices...
