The H2 hotel is quite a disappointment and would not recommend travelers to stay here. The price per night is severely inflated for an underwhelming and beyond basic room. Multiple issues. The fixtures and fittings in the room (and in the hotel in general) are quite tired and old, our bathroom lock was broken, and not much care was put into maintenance of the room in general. The AC did not work properly which led to us overheating overnight and causing us to wake up multiple times. The room itself is quite small and a tight fit, so difficult to get around. It also lacks any basic amenities such as a kettle or any tea/coffee making tray. You can get a €3 tea from the restaurant downstairs…. The breakfast itself is also very basic. They have the cooked food that you can see below, yogurt and fruit, and some tea/coffee. No pastries or anything like that. The actual fittings, tables and chairs of the restaurant are also quite cheap and dated making them very uncomfortable. The staff at this hotel are also quite unhelpful and not really pleasant. When we came to collect our bags the lady at reception was too busy eating her pizza and could not care any less about helping me find my bag in the back closet, which was buried under a number of other bags, so I had some digging to do myself. She didn’t even offer to help. All in all, would not recommend and would not visit this hotel again.

Not a luxorius place, rather a functionality was key. Kind of a compact room, which though had all the things you normally use. No office space/work station, but roundly decorated and we'll used space. Shower/toilet without a bathtub, but how often you really dive to the tub? Hairdryer is available, but seemed to be unpowerful. You also need to travel "lightly", since there is no closets for your gear/clothes. But still a good bed with solid sleep and the biggest benefit was that the room was ready already before 10.00 in morning and you got the room from top level which is 8 floor. Breakfast was ok, only missing lettuce and warm oatmeal. Instead there was 4 jogurth from where to choose and the coffee was machine made which gave you the possibility to choose from black, cappuccino, latte machiato, hot shocolate and so on. So good sleep in a effectively designed room where you have the normal things but nothing more. The lobbyshop is open 24/7, do you can always get a bite, if you feel hungry/thirsty.

One star for location and one star for staff finally cleaning the room after 2nd round of feedback. We checked in to our rooms, and room was dirty. Hair and dust in most corners. On your way to see Berlin we are letting the front desk know, that we are not satisfied by the level of cleaning. Returning several hours later room was still dirty. This time i wrote the hotel an e-mail, letting them know that we would be out most of the day, and we expect the room to be clean when we return. Room was much cleaner when we returned, and a bowl of fruit and chocolate was placed as a “sorry”. Location is great, Room was basic but cheap. Shower, well… a selection of either HOT water og ice cold water - no mater what temperature you set, water will swap beteeen burning HOT and ice COLD every 30 sec. or so.

We stayed from Monday to Friday. On our first night when we entered the room there was a horrible strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom and into the entire room. I went to the reception to complain about the problem but as there was too late for a manager to be around they informed us that the hotel is fully booked and in the morning we could look at the issue. We slept with the window partly open with 4 degrees outside as their ventilation in the bathroom didn't work either. There was also black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and as far as i know despite the smell this is a health risk especially if you are allergic. The next days the smell was coming and going but we had to leave the windows open when there or not. No one from reception or a manager looked into this the next days so we let it go as we were tired and just disappointed . 3 of our colleagues had a similar problem with the smell. Also we had to stay for an additional night and they asked us to pay 160 euros for this shame of a room and hotel.. So 1 star for your greed and unprofesionalism. And please save your sorry. I've read reviews going back up to 3 years with the same smell problem. The only good thing was the location but still. At least offer a discount, even pretend that you care or suggest an upgrade to happily pay for it but no. Who...

We’re a 10th grade class that went one a school trip here, and we can’t say it was a good experience. First of all one hotel service guy is running around and shouting at everyone for talking, even tho it’s early at the evening. We found blood on the bedsheets when we arrived, which did not come from us. The breakfast was, in contrast to everything else, good, but this not does weigh up to the bad service. When we walked in the hallway, the man pushed us and kicked our shoes into our rooms, even tho he didn’t tell us to get inside earlier. When we arrived we was met with the shouting guy before we even got to our room. How ever, the majority of the service was kind and good, but some individuals ruined it. It got to the point where i was suprised when the service people were nice to me. We’re not even allowed to talk. Very bad network. They’re even shouting at us in German. One service guy got in a conflict with different pupils, said to one of the pupils «do you want to fight me?». They’re stalking us through the windows. We’re getting treated differently than the other classes, while doing the exact same.

The worst thing is that we couldn’t even end our misery out the window, cause we couldn’t even open it more...
