This is the most amazing and complete store I have ever been to. It doesn't matter the location Galeria Kaufhof has purpose to catch your attention to the range of products you can find there. All the stores has several floors with escalators and lift and a extremely wide options of well known brands. It's impossible to go there and don't buy anything.

Here are some tips:

Ask for sales promotions. They always have some discounts for you. It seems it's like their policy... So if you want to buy a perfume, ask the sellers for good prices. And I am not talking about those products that are always with a discount like the perfume Versace Jeans or Hugo Boss Orange... Ask the sellers because they know real good discounts.

It's important for you to have the payback card. With it you can ALWAYS get some 10% discount on top of the total... And always check their website because sometimes you can get discounts depending on the season or department. It means you should not buy everything at once, but you should go there of check their website very often.

They have lockers for your backpack or suitcases, in case you want to feel more comfortable. You just need to unlock the locker key with a coin that you can get back when you return the key.

Take your time, get the products and try them. Keep the receipt in case you need to change. But I belive that it's very important to try everything, especially because many people go there during a travel.

If you want to buy chocolate, check if you can buy something like 3 chocolates packs for 10 euro for example. It's always a good deal.

About English. It's not every employee that speaks English but they always try to communicate with you the best way.

Galeria Kaufhof is not a cheap store, you can find cheaper prices on the internet or other stores in but there is a place for you to find good deals. So, don't feel scared if you see something overpriced like towels or bed sheets =P

I believe they overprice some of their products just to keep the average, but sometimes you just need to go to places like Ikea, kik etc if you want to buy something really cheap.

Always compare the price... We are in the 2018. You can even use their excellent wifi to compare the prices on other stores. Spend your money on good deals. And believe me, there are some products that they are always on sale, it's like it's part of the marketing strategy. You can go to duty free stores at any airport and you will see that there some products that always have the same average price but the stores always promote them like they have a special price.

The have big sizes, you just need to dig for it. Ask for help and you will find some...

I had a very bad experience in Galerie Kaufhof underwear section. I went to the fitting room with a few items and since I did not expect the store to Clos at 8 PM (sic! A shopping mall in the very heart ♥ of the busy city closes at 8) I tool my time and tried on my items. At 7:55 one of the Shop assistants came and in a very very rude tone informed me that the store will be closing and that I should hurry up. By the time I went to the cashier it was 8:00 and of course with a very apologizing expression, a smile and few words of being sorry asked if I can quickly pay for 1 item that I had. The both ladies rolled they eyes at me 👀 one said to the other "another one..." and without a word with an extremely sour face took my item and took her sweet sweet time to checkout. The whole experience made feel like 💩 and as an if they had to make something terrible even though I was nothing but nice to all of them. It makes me not want to go back to this store anymore. I had the pleasure to speak with engry shop assistants in this store before but nothing like this. I understand that working in a busy location store is stressful and very tiring and probably after the whole day of busy work the last thing you want is another customer wanting to buy something when you just want to go home 🏡, but still, it's a customer facing work and if you give a good impression to your customer he or she will come back and leave more 💵 in your store. I hope someone from the management will see all the negative comments of this mall and either give a better commission plan to the employees or work on some customer...

Yesterday afternoon I went to this place to buy a nice bag for me while i was waiting for my husband catching me up there from work. I went to the bag department on the ground floor and tried some bags. Unfortunately i still couldn't choose which one looked good on me so i decided to return later in the evening while waited for my husband that i could get his opinion. In the evening, me and my husband went there +/- 1 hour before they are closed but we went straight to the 2nd floor to look for some shoes for him, until it was +/- 30 we went downstair to that bag department i had visited in the afternoon in order to see the bags i was interested in. I tried some bags again (while realizing that they were about to close), hurrily i was trying a bag and walking to the mirror to see myself wearing that bag (the mirror was in that bag area btw) . Then suddenly there was this one employee from that bag department telling me "THAT PIC*RD BAG IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THIS SHELF!". She said it in German language while pointing out the shelf where the bag supposed to be placed and she said it like she thought i was gonna steal that bag! It was very rude and arrogant! I was REALLY interested to that bag and wanted to buy it, but thanks to her, i prefer NOT to buy it and never wanna return to that...
