We discovered this café on Google and decided to give it a try—it has a clean, minimalist vibe that immediately appealed to us.
We ordered an oat milk flat white, an oat milk matcha, and a toasted chicken sandwich. The coffee was smooth and the matcha impressed me — I’m quite particular about matcha, and this one was good. It wasn’t too bitter, had a vibrant green color, did not have clumps, and was served at just the right temperature (not scalding hot, which is important for matcha). The oat milk was also offered for free which was a plus.
The little touches really show that this place cares: they have agave syrup and brown sugar at the counter if you want to sweeten your drinks, plus self-service plain and lemon water and napkins. We also noticed a discreet fly trap near the cakes — a subtle but reassuring sign that they’re proactive about hygiene.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. We actually visited twice during our trip to Berlin. On the second visit, we’d just had a disappointing coffee at another nearby café, where we ended up abandoning our drinks. We immediately came back here instead — a testament to how much we liked it.
Some suggestions would be to offer more cake options and the option to add an extra matcha shot.
Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this café and would definitely return if we’re in...
Read moreI wanted to order tea, but unfortunately, it wasn’t on the menu. I had to ask the staff, the girl behind the counter seemed distracted and struggled to tell me what was available. After waiting around five to seven minutes for the tea (Wednesday 17pm the cafe was half empty) it still wasn't served. I heard through headphones girl shouting TEA, literally few steps behind me.. 😐 Customer service 0/5
Table was dirty, seats are wooden and not comfortable to seat, I will not return and do...
Read moreThe food was excellent and the location is really good. Service was also very good with friendly and attentive staff. My only critique is the atmosphere. I understand it’s a new place, but it felt a too loud for a café. The music, in particular, was way too loud (though kudos to the staff member who kindly turned it down when I asked him). Adding some noise dampening features, like plants or acoustic panels, could really help soften the noise levels and make the space more...
