Vegetarians and vegans beware! So: They sent us an extra entree accidentally. Okay, things happen, this was in our favor. Though surely someone else missed out. I opened up the box marked vegan (we ordered two buns, one vegan one beef). I quickly ate a lot of one of them and then realized, they wrote "vegan" on the one that had meat in it. So I consumed a bunch of beef. Thanks a ton there, guys. I then started eating my veggie curry, and midway through, found a big old hunk of gross-looking meat in the bowl. Wow, good times. Not.
Clearly, this company needs to slow down when they put their orders together.
On top of this, the mango curry was ridiculously enormously gargantuanly (you get the point) bland. I'm aware they might make things less spicy for a German consumer, but this was warm mango soup, there was nothing 'curry' about it. The texture was literally like butternut squash soup, not curry.
Finally, the bowl they gave me was about 60-70 percent lettuce and 30-40 percent rice. So when you put the mango soup on top of that much lettuce, it just gets soggy and taste terribly.
The end result is this is one of the worst meals I have had in a long, long time.
Edit in response to the restaurant's response: thank you for your comment. Look, I am the type of person who generally likes all food fine, but when I have something that I love a ton or hate it, that's when I'm most likely to review it. So your comment does not show that I hate everything. It shows that when I hate things I am more likely to write a review about it. So I admit I should write more reviews about the food I do like--thanks.
As a side note, of course I can tell the difference and taste between tofu and beef. I've been a...
Read moreThe food was good, but the staff member with a tattoo on his neck who served us was extremely rude. From the beginning, he raised his voice while taking our order and didn’t even ask about drinks. When I tried to get his attention, he ignored me, so I went to the fridge outside, took a bottle of water myself, and even opened it in front of him.
After we finished eating, he calculated our bill and asked us to pay. I assumed the water was included since it was still on the table, and we didn’t receive a receipt. Later, as we were about to leave, he came back rudely asking why we hadn’t paid for the water. I was shocked by his tone. He insisted I pay immediately, claiming he “wasn’t aware” of the water. I reminded him that he clearly saw me take it and that it was on the table when he gave us the bill. Instead of acknowledging his mistake, he raised his voice again, acted arrogantly, and even said, “Do you want to pay or not? I don’t have time to talk to you.”
I told him he should try to be polite, as it’s not the customer’s fault if he fails to calculate properly. He refused to take responsibility and remained rude and dismissive. He seemed to have some authority in the business, but this is absolutely not the way to treat customers, especially...
Read morethe worst restaurant of all berlin, after 25 minutes waiting for a dish that was the "dish of the day" I asked to cancel the order, (the restaurant was not even 15% full) and told me the waiter very rudely that "I did not have to wait" which was a "special" dish (was on the menu of the day, When the other waiter finally treated me to my "special dish of the day" he told me that they took so long because they had to go and buy one of the ingredients...no comments... about the food, the quality was poor, the tomato salad was exaggeratedly cold, and the flambéed fish I never saw, I thought I saw a hair on the plate and when I made the waiter, I practically said "idiot" on my face and began to criticize me in front of me with the waiter...
