This was another one of my favorite restaurants that I tried while in Berlin (it’s all vegan!) The interior is beautifully decorated, and it was empty when my friends and I stopped by for an early weekday dinner. The service was quick, and our server was very friendly. The prices are pretty reasonable too.
The Ducker dish (mock duck) is a MUST try. My friends and I all ordered it with either Red Curry or Peanut Butter. I got mine with peanut butter because I’m not the biggest fan of the strong coconut flavors of red/green curry. I thought the peanut butter curry was perfect, with strong but not overpowering fresh peanut flavors. Still, the peanut flavor is strong so I would only get it if you really like peanut butter. The veggies are hidden under the curry, and they were well-cooked. The duck is the star of the show though— so tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The flavors and textures were immaculate and I frequently wish I could go back and have it again.
I also tried the Sate Spiesse appetizer, which featured 3 skewers of tempeh, soy, and tofu. They were pretty good with a crispy exterior texture. I liked the tempeh the best. My friend got the Cucumber Bo Bia (spring rolls) which were solid too. But overall, the Ducker stood out the most for all 3 of us. I’ve had quite a bit of mock duck in my life, and this was among the best...
Read moreSunday afternoon in search of vegan food strolling through the neighborhood. After many stops, this is the restaurant we picked.
Why we picked it:
The waiter had a good energy and was nice. The menu had many healthy options with fresh ingredients. It was quiet, clean and spacious.
We sat inside by the opened window and enjoyed:

Sunrise - coconut soup with a variety of mushrooms and veggies. Gluten-free.
Ducker red curry coconut soup with seitan duck.
Finished with Passion drink.
Everything was delicious, the staff was nice, the price was right, the quiet atmosphere was just right for the chilled Sunday, and during our meal, nobody smoked....
Read moreVietnamese-owned vegan eatery near Rosenthaler Platz Station. Gorgeous interior decor with large leaves and warm lights. Would highly recommend the Dichter Der Wälder, a fusion pasta dish consisting of thick udon noodles with a generous serving of whole food toppings including fried beancurd, button mushrooms, edamame soybeans, beansprouts, and pickled radish, all coated in a creamy Vietnamese-style sauce infused with a touch of truffle oil. Another nice fusion dish was the wok-fried Pho Tamarind, with a choice of housemade protein such as crispy vegan chicken schnitzel. I liked how their eatery name highlighted how we get to choose a kinder and more sustainable future with what we put...
