Vino & Basilico — Restaurant in Berlin

Got food poisoning from the dinner. I was the only one who ordered the truffle pasta from my friend group and that's the only thing I ate the whole night. Roughly 1 hour after we were done with the dinner and left the restaurant, I started having stomachache, puking and having intense diarrhea for the rest of the night. It was very painful and I hope this is just a one-time situation for the restaurant. But I personally will never go back to the place ever again. To pay 28 euro for the truffle pasta only to get unhygienic food and food poisoning and had my whole Saturday ruined was really not it. I don't usually have stomach problem and I don't have any particular food allergy either (I've had truffle pasta several times before so I'm definitely not allergic to it) so for my stomach to have such strong reaction to the food, something must had gone horribly wrong with the pasta I was served.

My friend tried to contact the restaurant to let them know about the situation and warned them maybe sth was off tonight with their truffle pasta and they should check before serving to other clients. However the staffs just completely brushed her off on the phone and pretended like they didn't understand English (we literally just dined there and they served in...

This place deserves way more recommendations! The staff are amazing, and the service is top-notch. If you enjoy sitting outside, make sure to book ahead — and don’t forget how much Germany loves its smoking outdoors 😉.

But let’s talk about the food! We got incredibly lucky — the chef had just received a fresh batch of Italian white truffles. They’re so different from Australian black truffles, and of course, we couldn’t resist.

We tried pastas and octopus — everything was beautifully balanced and fresh. But as we had truffles, the standouts for us were the oranciatte with speck and radicchio, and the truffle pasta — absolutely divine! Oh and for us, the servings were pretry big. Even lunch serving:) we had to take home some:)

Very good wine list- but I am bias, I do like Italian wines:)) we stayed with whites as it was too hot and vermentino works so well with truffles:))) Also, they have very good apperetivo selection if you cant handle desert:))) I better stop writing and you better go and tey this place!

We wish we could come back just to try more dishes. Next time, for sure. But you should definitely go. This place is über fantastisch! 😊

Ich empfehle das Restaurant. Wenn ihr eine richtige köstliche Pasta essen wollt, dann komm hier! Das ist das erste Restaurant in Berlin, wo ich sage: wow! Alles war wirklich fein, frisch und deliziös. Die Preise sind ein bisschen teur aber wenn man gut essen will, dann muss man auch bezahlen. Die Qualität, die Zutaten, die Atmosphäre und die Mitarbeitern sind top!

Appagata! Posso dire di aver mangiato uno dei migliori piatti in cittá! Il ristorante é molto bello e moderno, il personale cordialissimo. Odori, proposte, atmosfera davvero al top! Lista di vini italiani ottima. Il cibo: presentazione, ingredienti di qualitá e combinazioni si traducono in piatti dal sapore raffinato. Sono solo Parole... Andateci! I prezzi un poco sopra la Media, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Si mangia divinamente e il prezzo non conta.
