the tteokbokki was alright, a good spice level even for people who can't handle spice too well the toppings were a nice addition, i think it would be better to order them separately as sides (more cost efficient) but we liked them a lot and enjoyed all of the sides we got :)

we were very disappointed to see that all of the kimbap variations had fish or meat listed as an ingredient when it said online that one of them was vegan/vegetarian we ended up not buying any because of that

the drinks were nice and refreshing and went well with the food

overall we were satisfied but didn't plan on coming back, but then we tried the corndog and WOW!! it's really so delicious, i can't stop thinking about it and can't wait to come back to get it again :)

edit: we went back after the owners replied to my review and actually looked at the menu properly this time so we could actually see that they did indeed have the option to make the kimbap vegan everything was once again very delicious, thank you so...

An excellent place for dinner. Really tasty, simple and authentic Korean food offered by very friendly and approachable staff in a fun atmosphere, playing Korean music, but at a volume where you can still have a conversation. Most of the dishes and snacks are very reasonably priced (there are a few main meals for €11-12 and lots of others for less than €8. We tried the carbonara which is made with really thick udon-style noodle pieces, a medium-spice instant noodles, which were so flavoursome and a corn dog. Went to youngheene for the very first time. Love that they offer take-away which is what I was looking for. I got the younghee gimbap, the beef mandu and the iced black tea. The tea was literally gone in seconds - it was absolutely delicious and very refreshing. The gimbap was nice as well but the beef mandu were the star of the show. Very well filled and seasoned. The staff was lovely and very friendly. Everything's a bit on the pricier side I think (especially the tea) but I don't eat out a lot, so I don't mind treating myself like this once in a while.
