In this alike Japanese restaurant, the ambiance is a mix of modern and Old Style, with a cozy hut-style inside Japanese flair. When it comes to service, there is little to complain about as the staff strive to make guests feel welcome and satisfied. However, attention to detail and guest requests must be given more importance. Unfortunately, there was an instance where a server served the wrong menu and instead of bringing the right menu promptly rectifying the mistake, they tried to improve wrongly Served dish to appease the guest. We didn’t understand why they make Tried to improve the wrong Served dishes instead of bringing the right Menu? Bit Shocking was that the guests had to pack their own food instead of having the service staff take over as usual.
The food in this restaurant is fresh, and the kitchen aims to replicate the authentic flavors of Japanese cuisine. While the taste is good, there are some areas for improvement. For example, some dishes like the grilled shrimp only come as halves, which may not justify the price. Similarly, a dish filled with spinach leaves and sauce did not match its cost. A raw salmon fillet on sushi rice looked promising but turned out disappointing when it was attempted to be grilled in a plastic box by the kitchen staff, which can be hazardous and affect the taste of the dish. Serving food in plastic containers is not ideal as it can introduce harmful chemicals into the food. Even the waitress said after we asked if it was possible to grill it properly, the staff told us that the plastic box burns off at the sides - didn't they realise that it is unfavourable to burn food in the box? When they already seeing it ..? Payments; the spinach leaves menu € 5.90 (For a small bowl with just spinach leaves, this price is not at all appealing and way too expensive) for a single small half prawn Plate € 3.30 ( How do you come up with this sum for just single half cut a small Prawn ? This price corresponds to 5 Prawns ) a Homemade drink € 5 ( the only acceptable ) and the wrong tasting of burnt plastic salmon menu € 15 ( Because the chef tried to grill the raw fish with a Bunsen burner, in the plastic box, The plastic box was burnt on the inside, so that the rice and the resting fish took on the flavour of plastic… My conclusion all in one not bad it just lacks in Service certain little things and professionalism of the Kitchen Chefs. Read moreI recently visited this place and had an extremely unpleasant experience with the clerk, who scolded and publicly humiliated me. As a regular customer who has been there several times before, I was shocked by how poorly I was treated.
I initially planned to eat there after running errands, but I needed to use the restroom first. While in the restroom, I messaged my boyfriend, who was still at the supermarket, and we decided to adjust our plans to finish our errands before it got dark. After using the restroom, I decided to leave immediately.
I wasn’t aware there was a charge for using the restroom. I was fine with paying but didn’t have cash on me. I even offered to buy a matcha to-go so I could pay with my card. However, the clerk rudely confronted me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner, demanding payment as though I was trying to cheat them. Her attitude and lack of basic manners were shocking.
Despite her behavior, I remained calm and tried not to escalate the situation. However, she continued scolding me as if I were a child, treating me like I had done something terrible. To be clear, I wasn’t trying to avoid payment, but her accusations and tone crossed the line. I was humiliated in public, which is unacceptable.
To resolve the situation, I even ordered a matcha and paid for it, but I left without taking it because I felt so uncomfortable and didn’t trust the service after her behavior. We had originally planned to eat there later, but after this experience, we will never return.

One soup came, my friend waited and the other soups still didn’t come. They only arrived when she already finished hers. And when the other two soups arrived, the waiter asked again what we wanted to order. But we already ordered our meals to another waiter. He even showed his ordering device to us (very unprofessional) and saying our order wasn’t there. But then we found out our order was there. Is there a staff training here?
Small yet pricy portion So another grilled starter was served. It was 14€ grill combo. But the meat and seafood’s portion were so little. Instead there are a lot of asparagus trying to make the plate look full. Very uncool. We also ordered Maki, and the seaweed wrapped around the rice was soft. That shows that the seaweed is not fresh. Normally it has to be a bit crispy.
Non existing table service We sat in a corner across the kitchen, which supposed to be an obvious spot for servers to take care of us. But every time we wanted to order something, we had to look at the waiters and waitress walking by for like 8 minutes and they would notice us. And the attitude of one of the waitress was really terrible. She was rude and being very short to us when we ordered as if it’s a waste of time for her to work here. She. she served us a pot of 4,5€ Matcha tea, her movement was so careless and the tea pot spilled a lot of our tea on the table. Then she left, without any apology or wiping.
