Wow. Where do I begin? My husband and I were going for a stroll in Weinbergspark today, and as we exited we realised we were both peckish and wanted a sweet treat. As tourists we don’t know a lot of local places to eat in this city so when we happened to stumble upon Croissant Couture right outside of the park it felt like fate was on our side today. We couldn’t help but go inside, already dazzled by the customers sitting outside eating croissants that can only be visually compared to art, in order to provide an adequate representation of what these pastries looked like. It only got better once we stepped inside the cafe, the delightfully cozy ambience and music drawing us in. There were so many tarts and beautiful creations to choose from we were in a real dilemma. The staff were extraordinarily friendly, defeating absolute any stereotypes I may have had in regards to ‘rude’ Berliners. My husband finally chose the pistachio croissant, and I went for the strawberry tonka as croissant. To tell you which one was better than the other would be like choosing one child over the other, and coming from a mother, I can sincerely say comparing these croissants to my children is not an overstatement, these croissants are truly THAT good. I think I’ve said enough, if this doesn’t convince you to get up from where you’re sitting right now, and walk over or even fly over to Croissant Couture, I don’t know what will. So please do yourself a favour, you deserve it, and so do...
Read moreI received an invitation to the café and was given full compensation for my drinks that unfortunately arrived spilled. Thank you very much and the effort to make up for the issue is greatly appreciated! The cronuts are still extremely delicious and the place is definitely worth a visit!
I ordered a vanilla caramel cronut and two iced lattes through Uber Eats. The delivery speed was very good, the order was here in about 30 mins. The delivery effort though was very bad. One of the lattes spilled and the order was delivered in a completely soaked paper bag. Unfortunately the latte also soaked half of the caramel vanilla cronut and almost half of one of the lattes had spilled by the time it arrived. I payed 6.90€ alone for the Cronut, so I would hope it arrives not soaked in the drink I payed for. Apart from the poor delivery, the food was very tasty. The Cronut was delicious, flaky, not dry. The vanilla cream was not too sweet which balanced out the slightly too sweet caramel drizzle on top. The lattes were also very good, for 5.40€ per serving the size is also very acceptable. Food tastes great! But to the café: PLEASE WORK ON YOUR PACKAGING EFFORTS. If the food is delivered by bike, IT MUST BE PACKAGED ACCORDINGLY TO AVOID SPILLING THE DRINKS. (Taping the cups with a piece of tape isn’t enough as...
Read moreI’ve had this place on my “want to go” list for a while and decided to come here on a random Saturday. Maybe this was my mistake at first, but I have to say my experience was positive overall. Everyone working here, although it was crowded and probably really stressful for them, handled everything greatly. My husband got his croissant first and they said they would bring mine and the cappuccinos at the table (they assign you a number) and it took a while as it was busy. Once the cappuccinos got there the croissant still was not there yet but my cappuccino was cold and as reluctant as I was, I decided to complain. The amazing guy at the cashier with great dark hair was super cute and sweet. Once I got to my table my croissant was already there and the new cappuccino arrived right after and it tasted better and was warm and nice. Now, let’s talk about what matters: croissant! Omg, delicious! One of the pistachio croissants I’ve had and it’s totally worth the hype! The choconuggat croissant was good, as my husband said: if you like pain au chocolat you will like it! The cappuccinos are 3,7€ and it’s a fair price cause it’s not too small. Everything was 21,20€. Kudos to the team who handled an almost stressed situation very well! Will be back, maybe at...
