At first, I'll admit, the idea of French cuisine in the heart of Berlin seemed like a culinary tightrope walk. I mean, why not just go to Paris, right? But hey, curiosity got the best of me, so I sauntered into Fleury Cafe with cautious optimism, only to have my coffee dreams dashed when the waiter delivered a "late" macchiato instead of the "latte" I ordered. Classic mix-up, and one very likely to happen in a French cafe immediately raising my hopes that this might be a good brunch after all—because they certainly got the French flair for service right (oh I got you the wrong drink, sucks to be you, enjoy!) As I mused over my coffee conundrum, a behemoth of an omelet landed on my table, adorned with generous chunks of goat cheese, cooked with that unmistakable French finesse. Yet, there it was, staring back at me like a formidable German fortress, a culinary oxymoron of sorts—a French-inspired delight presented in a quintessentially German manner: a square brick. From that moment on, I was sold. Fleury Cafe may dance on the delicate line between French flair and German tradition, but it does so with panache. So, if you're ever in Berlin and feeling a tad adventurous, take a detour to Fleury Cafe. Who knows, you might just find yourself delightfully lost in the delicious crossroads of European cuisine—and trying out a flavor of coffee you’d never volunteered to try

A well respected and very busy small French cafe, about 5 mins walk from Rosenplatz. Authentic menu with perhaps the best Croque Monsieur I have had anywhere outside Paris. French toast is also fantastic, as is the Hot Apple drink! You order at the bar inside and prepare to wait a little for a table if you are unlucky and arrive at their rush hours (try and avoid 0900 until 1300 unless you don't mind a wait outside). They have outside seating, which is lovely unless you are hitting our cold winter months here in Berlin. Inside is nice and cosy. Service is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Only one issue I have, but if prepared, it's not too bad, is that this is CASH only, so you have been warned and come prepared! There are no warnings outside until you are about to pay so..... One final point is that they have a laptop ban over the weekends, so this is very much a weekday only work place. Highly recommended.....just remember to bring cash!

Wonderful French cafe in the heart of Berlin. This one is on a street with really good cafes next to it. So it has competition but it comes through. I found out about the cafe through excellent reviews and it didn’t not disappoint. The portion sizes are decent. We got ambitious and ordered 3 dishes for 2 people and of course could not finish. The people at the cafe were sweet and made us a doggy bag. The coffee is decent. We had the ice frappe. I would’ve loved for it to be colder, but works. We had the tomen Ziegenkäse quiche, avocado sandwich and a plate of baguette, a croissant and good old strawberry jam and butter. The outside seating is wonderful. You need to order at the counter but they bring you your food and they do accept cards

I liked going to have breakfast here till today. I ordered soup, when I ordered soup I tried it and it was sour. I have sensitive stomach so I couldn't eat it and girl at the counter said that they can change it to the other one. I was waiting change didn't happen and I came to the counter and the other waiter told that they can't change as the soup is not ready and the other one even more sour. I asked what can I change it to. I had an answer that I need to pay for another one if I don't like this. And am I sure I will not eat this one? Ofcourse sure, I will not eat something that is not good for me and brings my stomach problems. Used to the other kind of client service, especially if it is about health like in my case. Not recommended, there are plenty of other places in Berlin that are nice to...
