A Hidden Gem with Exemplary Cuisine and Ambiance

My visit to PeterPaul with work colleagues turned out to be an exceptional dining experience that surpassed all expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the welcoming aura of the place, a prelude to the culinary delight that awaited us.

Culinary Excellence: The quality of the food was nothing short of amazing. Each dish we ordered was a blend of exquisite flavors, meticulously prepared to perfection. Despite the initial perception that the plates appeared small, we were pleasantly surprised at how satisfying and filling the meals were. It’s a testament to the chef’s expertise in crafting dishes that are both delectable and fulfilling.

Exceptional Service: What elevated our dining experience was the extraordinary friendliness and attentiveness of the PeterPaul team. Their professionalism and warmth made us feel valued and well-cared for, adding a personal touch that is rare to find.

Ambiance: The ambiance of PeterPaul deserves a special mention. The place has a unique charm that combines elegance with a cozy, inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening with friends or colleagues.

I wholeheartedly commend the PeterPaul team for their dedication to creating a positive dining experience. It's a great place that deserves all the accolades for its culinary prowess, exceptional service, and enchanting ambiance. A big thank you to the team for making our evening so special.

PS: Do not underestimate the size of the plates; the culinary journey at PeterPaul is designed to satiate and surprise you. Highly...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at PeterPaul in Berlin with my partner, and it was a truly delightful experience. The restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional German cuisine by serving classic dishes in small, tapas-style portions, perfect for sharing and sampling a variety of flavors.

Each dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Germany with a modern touch. The wine selection complemented our meal wonderfully, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The ambiance of PeterPaul is both modern and stylish, with dark walls and cream-toned seating creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel valued and ensuring we had an unforgettable evening.

Overall, our visit to PeterPaul was a memorable culinary journey through German flavors, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and enjoyable dining experience in Berlin.

First of: don’t be intimidated by the plush-somewhat-tacky interior!

We kind of were but has reservations and really wanted to try the place - and we really liked it.

The modern interpretations of classics of the German cuisine are really worth the while!

The current trend of serving food “family style” is something I am not really a fan of. At this place though, the size of the so-called “tapas” is generous and well-dimensioned. We had five small platters for the two of us and were very satisfied - I just “had to” order one more for pleasure.

With this, coming to the not-so-great experience of the evening. As swift as the first service was, as long I had to wait for a second glass of wine and the additional dish - also a constantly reappearing pattern at Berlin restaurants, I have to admit, but not less annoying.

Overall, four stars for friendliness and quality of the food, with huge potential for making the five stars with a little more attention to all...

I am so glad I made a reservation here. It is a culinary experience, which is great. After ten days in Germany, this was one of our last places to eat. I'm glad. I'm going to say something that might be controversial, and I don't mean anything negative by it. I've traveled to many countries and have always found some particular regional food to be amazing. I struggled in Germany. The German food seemed to be bland and lack sauces and, well, spices. I kept trying in various cities and various restaurants. It's not bad, just kind of boring? So, I'm glad I went to Peter Paul at the end because they elevate traditional German food and allow one to taste, in small size, various dishes. It was great. The service was amazing, and I would highly recommend everyone to go here if you might feel a little like I did with native food.

From start to finish, this was a truly remarkable dining experience. The concept—an inspired fusion of art gallery and restaurant—feels both original and thoughtfully curated. Service was a standout: warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional, with a genuine sense of hospitality that made us feel personally welcomed. The culinary offering was just as impressive. A cold starter of roast beef with crème fraîche, shallot, and pickled gherkin was beautifully balanced and full of flavor. Warm dishes such as the curry sausage, cured pork with sauerkraut froth, and Königsberger meatballs were masterfully prepared—flavorful, elegantly plated, and portioned just right. This place is a hidden gem in Berlin, and one we’ll be enthusiastically recommending to friends and fellow travelers alike.
