Ziervogel's Kult-Curry — Restaurant in Berlin

This one has been on my list for ages. It still dates back to my “Currywurst-Phase” which I still have occasionally to be honest. 😁 It’s a bit of a different Currywurst experience as this is not your classic Imbiss but an actual restaurant with plenty of space and tables to sit at. What remains is the self-service but it sure is a more calming than average Currywurst experience. If you are new to Berlin this might be a place to start with as the tone here is not quite as rough as with the little “Büdchen” owners across town! 😁 The sausage is great and the sauce is lacking a bit of a kick (spicyness) for my personal taste but that’s common with most Currywurst places. Additionally to the classics they over a couple of sides (cucumber salad, potato salad, salad, …) and some interesting sauces AND last but not least, even the vegetarians & vegans are taken care of with a sausage for each category. My favorite curry wurst place in Berlin! It’s as tasty as it looks, you can choose the level of spice you want on it if you’re feeling brave, and the portion size is juuuuust right that you don’t feel uncomfortably full afterwards. They have reasonably priced set menus too, great for lunch. The interior towards the back has a kind of kitsch retro German look which I like.
