This is a very tasty high end steakhouse. The menu fits on two pages and is focused entirely on meat. There is some shellfish but it is very clear that the meat is the star. The entrés are quite expensive, especially the assorted platter which costs 25€ per person and must be ordered at least twice.
The salad is cheaper under 10€ but is quite difficult to eat as it is 1. Served in a bowl and 2. Almost entirely served in full leaf form which is difficult to eat. There is cream cheese in the salad which is served as a block on the salad. The small size of the bowl makes it impossible to mix the salad however.
The restaurant serves a meat juice type of aperitif which is alcohol free and basically consists of the juices left over from the meat after cooking. It's quite tasty.
The quality of the meats was excellent. Personally I would recommend the rib-eye which was excellent.
The menu I felt was complicated to understand as sides must be ordered completely separate to the meat main course. They are also served in separate bowls which made eating awkward. The fries were extremely basic and not worth it. However the pan vegetables, the mushrooms and the bratkartoffeln were excellent.
Deserts were lacking in diversity but tasty. The chocolate cake was average as was the creme brulee. Would have loved to see a cheesecake. The desert variation is a large plate with all three deserts. It has a bit more fruit then the individual deserts but one scoop of ice cream less. I felt it's not worth getting the variation.
The inside of the restaurant is nice but the tables are quite wide which makes interaction difficult with people across the table. The chairs and benches were comfortable. In the room across from the bar the noise level was a bit too high. Otherwise a nice experience. Bathrooms are very clean but there are no dividers between pissoirs which I find ridiculous.
In my opinion the meat is excellent but the rest of the restaurant lacking. The prices do not warrant the drop in quality between meat and everything else. Would recommend if you have the cash, not if you are saving up for this. Go to Blockhaus, you won't taste the difference in taste but your wallet will stay...

Every dish that arrived at my table was a masterpiece — both in presentation and flavor. The ingredients were clearly of exemplary quality: fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully combined. Each bite told a story of precision, care, and creativity. From appetizers to dessert, the menu showcased a global tapestry of flavors that somehow felt perfectly cohesive.
The service was equally outstanding. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, offering insightful recommendations and genuine enthusiasm for the food they served. It’s rare to find a team so passionate about creating a truly memorable dining experience.
What impressed me most were the recipe ideas woven into every dish. Each plate felt like a culinary journey — as if I was traveling the world from the comfort of a single chair. One bite transported me to Asia, the next to the Mediterranean, and then back home with a familiar yet elevated twist.

Read moreRead moreThe food was generally fine, but, as other reviewers have indicated, it's overpriced. I've been to top steak restaurants all over the world (usually going for Porterhouses or New York Strip) and this place is at least one third more expensive than it should be. Worst thing, however, was the service and wait time. On a Sunday evening, our four-person party had to wait 80 minutes for a regular order (3 appetizers to share, 3 steaks, one filet skewer) when the rest of the restaurant was virtually completely empty: there were only two other parties inside (one two-person party, one four person party) and then one other couple outside. When after 65 minutes I asked for an "update" on our order, given how empty it was, the waitress talked to the kitchen staff (which we could see from our table) and then told us "5 more minutes", which were over after 17 more minutes and then two of the three ribeyes we ordered were not hot anymore. We pointed that out and got "oh, sorry" as a response, that was it. At that overly high price point, this is just ridiculous, we...
