Hako-Zushi — Restaurant in Cologne

Cost Vs. Quality and variety 👎👎

I'm trying to be as much as partial with this review; However is dificult when here, there is NO fish sushi 🍣 🍤🍣, all People are just waiting for that and kind of eye/figthing for the fish type.

I have been in at least 7 (all you can eat Running Sushi) Restarants in several places (Berlín, Hamburg, Munich, konstans, near Zurich and Österreich, etc.) and really is Hard to say this (because the guy who hosted us was very nice) but this is the worst 👎👎🥹 all you can eat Running Sushi I have ever tryed.

Food: There is NO fish sushi at all and the few they have is poor (All people waiting for fish) there is NO variety. 👎👎 You can get better in REWE.👌.

In comparision to the other places this have only one conveyor Vs. Two/three. This conveyor runs very very but very show.

If you are really a (sushi fan) and like raw fish, dude this is not the place to go inside, Do NOT guide by the stars, what you see from outside of the Windows is what it is, nothing else.

Service: The team atending and their service is great!! Thanks guys!👍

Atmospher: 🤔.... You can sense by the people's eyes, all wondering "when the fish is comming out?" And the people watching eachother and meanwhile eating something/a bit.

Owners should so some benchmark with their competency, to get best practices to implemet and improve the fish variety.

Response from the owner a week ago Thank you for your evaluation. It's not that we don't have fish, but we are really too busy. The colleagues in the kitchen have been working very hard and have been trying not to let the bar be too empty. They also try their best to make salmon Nigiri. Since the seats are full, if you sit in the first few seats, you will definitely get what you want. I also want to say sorry to all the guests today. It was a busy hour. Not only the fish, but also the drinks had to wait for 20 minutes.

Me and my three friends were seated in the first few seats, and because we heard the comments/complaints from people in front of us and in our two sides, we let pass MANY, MANY TIMES those few Nigiris, due to was not fair to the rest of the diners.

Immediate improvements: -When the food and variety are good, no one will think about the drink’s delays. -Include desserts. -Increase conveyor's speed.

Future improvements: -Identify your busy hours/days. -Get proper personal to support previous identified busy hours/days. -Implement a second conveyor; to have two running in opposite directions. (Like others all you can eat running sushi which cost is the same.)

Food was ok, not too many options but the service was pretty weird to be honest. They kept giving us weird looks and even though we didn’t care that much about it, it still made us a bit weird. It’s not that they are rude or anything, they smile and welcome you but they keep an eye on you all the time. But if you don’t care about the ambience or service, it can be an okay choice for...

The format of food passing by and you taking what you want is cute...a drawback is you have to wait until what you like to pass by and at times the people before you take it all and the wait is longer...the food was good but I found only a few things exceptional...the choice for sushi buffet was limited...at lunch 2 persons and 2...
