It’s very simple. Everyone goes here for gulash. You’re not getting salad, wurst or pommes here. There’s really nothing on the menu either- it’s either gulash with meat or just soup and each comes with a roll.
You also get a little half bowl of gulasch soup with it as a follow up. The taste is spicy and tasty and they pride themselves on not using any fake aromas or powders. The clientele have been coming here since they were kids wirh their parents or haven’t been back in a while.
The wait staff are exuberantly friendly in an un-German yet authentic way and very Kolner-way (maybe it’s in the Kölsch water- aka: beer!)

The bowl of goulash is 5.90€ and a Kölsch is 2.10€ so you can have a hot meal and a beer for only 8€.
