Best hotpot in Cologne! Delicious, authentic, and customizable with great proteins like beef, seafood, and sweet potato. The rice is fluffy, refillable, and everything is fresh and fast. Great selection of side sauces. Presented beautifully and you can choose the broth with its spice level and taste how authentic it is.

The staff are amazing and helpful, and the restaurant is spotless, but some customers leave the ingredient area messy this isn’t the staff’s fault. Hope the guests can be more mindful and learn proper ettiequte this isn’t the staffs fault. Best malatang in Cologne!! (Me is Asian and my husband is German and he also approved). We’ve tried the hype malatang in the city center, and their broth was meh, not like a -full in mouth- broth *if you know what i mean. But this San Gu, their noodle/meat/veggies/seafood/mushrooms/tofu selections are pretty a lot and freshh, their broth is so tasty, a liiiittle bit salty but its still really good compared to the other malatang restaurants. And the price is also fair (2,88€/100gr). I came here 2 times and definitely gonna come back...

Hi, if you are in for a nice Bowl/Soup/Hot Pot, this is your place to go. Its done as an buffet, choose your ingredients, let the nice people at the kitchen weight your tray and choose your soup flavour.
