Der Innenraum dieses eleganten Restaurants mit einer Gewölbeanmutung beherbergt eine kleinere Anzahl an Gästen, die sich hier wie ich offensichtlich äußerst wohl fühlen. Neben dem perfekten Service, der auffällig und ohne viele Worte Hand in Hand arbeitet, ist das Essen eine wahre Freude. Es gibt eine Karte mit genau der richtigen Menge an Köstlichkeiten, um eine feine Auswahl zusammenstellen zu können. Suppen sind nicht darauf. Mein Hummer "Thermidor" war auf den Punkt genau zubereitet und mit einem unglaublich gelungenen Sößchen nur kurz überbacken. Statt des Tomalley findet man im oberen Teil der Karkasse Teile des Scherenfleischs. Köstlich. Die Seezunge war eine Offenbarung, allerdings ein wenig klein. Dazu reichte man ein vollendetes Selleriepüree, Romanesco und eine nussige Salbeibutter. Als Abschluss diente ein Torrone-Halbgefrorenes mit genau der richtigen Parfait-Konsistenz. Die Weinkarte ist gut sortiert und nicht zu groß, die Beratung dazu kompetent. Es gibt keinen Champagner und keine halben Flaschen. Insgesamt ein Aufenthalt der Spitzenklasse. Die nächste Reservierung steht schon. Ich freue mich.

Un restaurante de cocina italiana de calidad en un ambiente distinguido, acogedor y con un servicio profesional y pendiente del comensal. Ofrecen una carta variada, basada en la cocina italiana, con producto de calidad y una esmerada elaboración y presentación. De entrada, nos ofrecieron un aperitivo de cortesía, para seguir con una Burrata clásica, Carpaccio de solomillo de ternera con trufa de temporada, Lomo de bacalao “Loins” con salsa Dijón, y Costillar de cordero con espuma de ajo. Fue un auténtico desfile de sabores, texturas, y aromas en armonía que nos deleitaron de principio a fin. Presentan una completa Carta de Vinos italianos, ordenados por regiones, todos de calidad. Nuestra elección fue un Sauvignon Ronco del Cerò, elaborado por Venica & Venica en Collio (Veneto), que aportó el maridaje a la excelente cocina. Para la sobremesa nos obsequiaron con un caffè espresso y un amaretto. El total para dos personas fue de 174 euros, una buena relación calidad precio. Una visita muy recomendable para quien disfrute de la cocina italiana de nivel.

Very tasty Italian food and great service! They also have nice location right at the main station. We had almost all dishes from the menu as we were a big group. Everyone was fully satisfied with the dish. The wine was recommended by the staff from outside the wine menu and it was also a 5 star! We will for sure come back!

Recommended by our Italian doorman at the hotel, we dined at Da Damiano. We did not have reservation but the owner greeted us and sat us on the patio. The dishes were AMAZING. The owner took our order, served us wine and served us so well! He even sat through my husband trying to be humorous with him. :) I had the pasta with truffles, AMAZING. Husband had the Gnocci, ALSO AMAZING. We were going to order the cheesecake but then the waiter told us that he had an even better dish that he recommended and we were WOWED. Loved it! The other owner (the wife/boss) came over to ensure we were enjoying our dishes as well. We will miss not having this place to go to now that we are back in the states. Yes, you pay for the quality and service but I'm fairly certain that's to be expected. If you want cheap and rowdy, there is a McDonalds a block away. Oh- the wine selection of the night was...

Walked in as a single table and all seemed good until the owner or hostess woman looked at me up and down and said no sorry bye-bye! That is half the story and consistent with other reviews on the shear arrogance of these people. Went next door to Luciano’s and had at least six tables open and guess what - sorry we are full. I know what you are thinking, shirts, flip flops and bathing suit. Nope, well dressed and eat at fine dining establishments all the time. These people just think that YOU, spending money with them, is a favor! Avoid these two places go across the street to La Catina Da Pasquale which was warm, welcoming, AWESOME FOOD, and higher rated than both these self enamored, past their prime...

Walked in to this establishment and it was completely empty. Approached the hostess...she looked at my husband and I: gay couple, and I said two for dinner, she asked if we had reservations, I replied no. She replied we have nothing. Good night. I burst out laughing. Went one door down had a FABULOUS dinner. Looked in the window as we left three hours later...LOTS of capacity! Draw your own conclusions...would not recommend at all! Go one door over...
