The best part of the restaurant is its location - the view and the upper terrace are superb. Greeting the guests with a glass of Prosecco or non-alcohol drink is great. I liked the idea that most guests come around 18-19 o’clock and then the restaurant is basically closed for others. Keeping the number of guests and the menu small is also a good sign. But on the night I was there, the public was extremely loud. So loud I couldn’t hear the live music and even my friends sitting next to me. By the end of the night, my throat was sore because I had to raise my voice to talk all the time. This is what amazed me the most, I expected a more refined behaviour from the visitors in such place.

The food was fresh and delicious. One star off for vegetarian options. As the menu changes weekly, as far as I understood, the options I was hoping for, were not available and the ones on the menu (three of them) did not all suit me due personal allergies. Also I understand, that tea is not this restaurant’s specialty, but I would expect to have loose tea or at least a higher quality teabags and cookie on the side.

Overall, I would recommend this place, hoping that it will not get as loud like in a pub during...

Francesco and his staff took care of us today, Christmas day for a special brunch. We are a group of four, two of us live outside Germany and two in Dresden. The restaurant was celebrating their first year in operation also and I can only wish they celebrate many more years into the future.

What a great day we had. Our Dresden friends said that it was the best restaurant in the area. In our party we had two vegetarians an one with gluten and lactose intolerances. Meals were changed on the fly to accommodate and Francesco went about his business with flair. Truly a person who loved what he does and excels at making people feel as though they are enjoying a meal at a friend's house.

Definitely one...

A genuinely fantastic restaurant located on the 5th floor of a building. We found it by chance. Grazie Mille Francesco, you’re an amazing & super friendly chef! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 The chef made something special for our “picky” daughter straight away, something which was not on the menu, so we could enjoy our dinner. The gnocchi and the pappardelle were simply FANTASTIC! The restaurant is designed with great taste. Coctails are superb! Highly recommended! ⭐️ We were there with our daughter but better to go without kids!

Our second dining at The Bollicine, one year after our first time. Another amazing food experience. Another amazing welcome & goodbye from Francesco and the team! This time we had live music too. It was really good. Our 8-year-old daughter says Francesco is the most exciting restaurant owner! We couldn’t agree more! Vielen lieben Dank Franceso & The Bollicine Team!!! 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
