Be aware when getting a pizza here, this is what you get served. I was here on 26th of march, served by some middle east guy at about 6:30 pm. After eating two pieces, I could not do more, having taste of burned food in my mouth. I very politely took it back an apologised for bothering, but showed the pizza, when I was told that this is the pizza they served here(maybe thats the reason why there is not queue for pizza, but was there a day before and pizza was fine). I then showed how you can simply by pressing it smash it to pieces - obviously 1/3rd was burned. Then the guy angrily took it and threw it into the trash. Made another one, which was dry. I wanted to go back and throw it to his face, simply because this one person is ruining whole experience, which was always good. Also another thing was that he came to our area like 4 or 5 times to pick other peoples dishes. I have never seen in Vapiano cooks picking up food - I dont know what was his business there by doing so, also waiters told him to go back and were surprised of his business there, he simply kept coming back, leaving his place left and customers waiting. Terrible service!! After entering the restaurant there was 1 person ahead. That person was given menu and instructed immeadetly. We had wait for waitress to enter several codes/bills to tablet for a minute... (even there was nobody behind us and the entrance waitress couls do that after they welcome us and give us menus.

We sit inside the restaurant and we waited like 15-20 minutes without anyone noticing us. Waitress came around and said she will be by us in a moment... we waited several more minutes, without any further notice.

Another cleaning staff that peepared cutlery droped one on the floor and laughted at that, return that cutlery back to all the rest in "being served plate". This is very inappropiate in normal time, not mentioning COVID19 time. Very unhygienic.

Abends in Dresden angekommen, Hunger gehabt, also dachte ich mir hinein. Ein Fehler.... Die Begrüßung durch die Dame an der Kasse sehr freundlich, das System erklärt bekommen,Verzehrkarte ausgehändigt bekommen, soweit so gut. Und damit hatte die Herrlichkeit dann auch sein Ende. Ich stellte mich in der Pastaschlange an, Spaghetti Carbonara sollte es sein. Da kann man eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen. Das Rezept die Zutaten sind simpel ... Spaghetti, Eigelb, Speck, Parmesan oder Pecorino gerieben, in Deutschland dann noch Sahne, reichlich frischer schwarzer Pfeffer fertig. Dann folgte der Auftritt des Vapiano Koch. Eigentlich hatte ich schon aufmerken sollen, als er mich fragte mit Käse oder Knoblauch????? Was dann serviert wurde spottet jeder Beschreibung. Irgendwelche völlig überkochten Spaghetti in einer weißlich wässerigen Soße, die aus Zwiebeln mit Wasser verlängerter Kondensmilch und irgendetwas undefinierbar süßem Bestand. Darauf wurde dann etwas gerieben, was man in dieser Küche wohl für Parmesan hält. Nach der Wanderung durch das halbe Lokal um dann noch ein Bier zum Gericht zubekommen, gab's dann den Spaghetti angepasst ein schlecht gezapftes Krombacher ohne Schaum. Da bekommt man gleich Appetit.... Am Tisch die Spaghetti probiert, völlig ungenießbar. Das Gericht hatte noch nicht mal im Ansatz etwas mit einer Carbonara gemeinsam. Dafür hatte das Bier magenfreundliche Temperaturen. Ich denke wenn man dort etwas Kaltes trinken möchte muss man sich einen Kaffee bestellen. Das die Kette Vapiano insolvent gegangen ist kann ich bei solcher Qualität durchaus verstehen. Dem Koch sei geraten, wenn man keine Ahnung hat von dem was man tut, sollte man es lassen oder jemand kennen der es einem erklären kann. Er kann mich gerne anschreiben, dann weihe ich ihn gerne in die Geheimnisse der schmackhaften Küche ein. Wenn man das jetzt mit Individualität begründet, darf man es nicht Carbonara nennen. Das ist ein klassisches Gericht mit einer klassischen Zubereitung. Sonst könnte man ja auch ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Lakritzschnecken panieren und sagen, unser Koch macht das halt so. Für das was hier abgeliefert wurde, gibt es Italienverbot auf Lebenszeit. Ach übrigens, es wurde alles voll berechnet obwohl der Teller nach einer Gabel zurück ging.
