Pizzeria Thymian — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

Its a decent pizza. More ingredients that the ones in the Altstadt but not as tasty. People are not that friendly. They make the dove in a machine which take away that flavor. In most places of cheap pizza in Altstadt you see how they make and prepare everything by hand. Here you don't. Most of the times they don's let you in because they hace hundreds of pizza boxes all over the place. If you are starving and OLNY want some pizza and you don't want to walk another 3 blocks......

Der Laden hat im unteren Bereich eine kleine Bibliothek und einen Beamer der an die Wand Musik-Klibs ausstrahlt.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Ein englischer Menu war vorhanden.

Wir hatten Steak und Pizzen.

Die Pizza mit Gurke und Hähnchen ist zu empfehlen. Die Knoblauch-Soße ist wie im amerikanischen. Die Pizzen sind hier sehr groß. Große Pizza kostet ca. 5,- Euro eine Familie Pizza ca. 7,- €. Die große Pizza wird im Menü als kleine Pizza geführt und die Familien-Pizza steht im Menü als große Pizza.

Die Pizza-Variationen im Menü erinnern eher an eine amerikanische Pizzaria.

Das Steak wurde auf heißem Stein serviert, mit zwei Soßen und Kräuterbutter. Der gemischte Salat zum Steak war gut. Dazu gab es eine Beilage. Das Stein blieb lange heiß. Man konnte sein Steak so lange darauf braten lassen, bis es die gewünschte Garung erreicht ist.

Es gab auch noch eine scharfe Soße. Diese war angenehm Scharf (für nicht scharf essende Menschen) und hatte einen leichten...

This is a cheap, but good place to have Italian pizza. There is a minimum wait to get your order and the taste is also good. But it's a bit oily and you can feel the oil dripping out from the pizza.
