We went there last Saturday as it was the only place where we could spent our Yums in Düsseldorf. We weren't in the neighborhood so had to go there on purpose. Even if we had a reservation to use a 2000 yums discount, I always ask confirmation that the discount will indeed be applied, and luckily I did, because the waiter told me that they don't accept thefork discounts any more. If I hadn't asked I would have add to pay full price without knowing it in advance. Fine, I thought, let's not doubt their good faith, let's just ask them to remove themselves from the app, and leave. Today I was curious to check if it was still possible to make a reservation with Yums discount via thefork and surprise: they're still there. Not very honest. As the owner answers, I just want to add the detail that the discount of the fork doesn't mean that the restaurant doesn't get paid, but "TheFork co-finances the loyalty reductions, so the loyalty reductions that you apply will be automatically deducted from your TheFork invoice for the following month, up to 50% of the total in the form of a credit note". It's up to the restaurant to decide whether it's a good deal or not, and looks like in Dusseldorf is the only restaurant at the moment to offer to take yums, so the others seems to have been able to get unlisted. Also normally you'll receive a notification when a reservation is done, I had it recently in Amsterdam where the restaurant was so kind to call me after they received the reservation and then cancel it, so that I didn't spent money & time to get there without reason. Anyway I don't think my rating will impact the stellar rating this place already has, I just want to warn other people that could reserve via thefork, please double check with them via a phone call or whatever...

Visiting from the Netherlands, we were surprised to find this place and were so impressed by the taste of the burger patties! Truly, the best patties we’ve ever tasted in a restaurant! We tried the burger IG, the crispy chicken, and the spicy burger. All were delicious. Mo explained to us that this is because they get their ingredients freshly delivered and made every day and do not reuse food from the day before.

The service was very friendly and quick. Thank you guys!

Ps. Mo also said that leftover food they have from every day is shared with the homeless...

Ich hatte eigentlich zuerst einen Chickenburger bestellen wollen, aber mir wurde gesagt, dass sie leider kein Chicken mehr haben. Das war zwar ärgerlich, aber ich dachte mir, dass so etwas mal passieren kann, wenn der Vorrat erschöpft ist. Also wählte ich eine Alternative und bestellte dann den Pommdaddy. Dieses Gericht sollte eigentlich Cheddar Käse enthalten, jedoch war auf dem Pommdaddy überhaupt kein Cheddar zu finden. Es wurde uns erst nach dem Servieren mitgeteilt, dass der Käse ausgegangen war, was ich als sehr respektlos empfand.

Als wir unsere Bestellung bekamen, entschuldigte sich die Bedienung und sagte, dass sie nicht viel Käse auf den Cheeseburger tun konnten, weil sie keinen mehr hatten. Auf dem Cheeseburger meiner Partnerin war nur eine halbe mickrige Scheiben Käse. Daraufhin hörte ich, dass jemand vom Personal kurz zum Aldi fuhr, um mehr Käse zu kaufen. Daraufhin ging ich noch einmal rein und bat darum, wenigstens den Pommdaddy mit dem neu gekauften Käse zu belegen. Dabei wurde mir klar, wie minderwertig der Käse war. Die drei Scheiben Käse auf dem Pommdaddy waren gummiartig und schmolzen nicht richtig. Es war offensichtlich, dass hier am falschen Ende gespart wurde.

Für das ganze Essen haben wir 40 Euro bezahlt.

Insgesamt fühlten wir uns betrogen und respektlos behandelt. Diese Erfahrung war äußerst enttäuschend und ich kann den R n BeefLaden leider nicht empfehlen, besonders wenn man Wert auf gute Qualität und respektvollen...
