We had a fantastic dining experience at Shinju Sushi & Grill in Düsseldorf! From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, who went out of their way to help us make the best choices from the menu. Their genuine recommendations made all the difference, as they guided us to try some of their most popular dishes that we may not have picked on our own.

The food itself was a delightful surprise. We enjoyed every bite of the tuna and surf & turf rolls, both fresh and full of flavor. The dumplings were perfectly crispy, and the special chicken karaage was hands-down one of the highlights of our meal, boasting a tender, flavorful profile we couldn't get enough of. We also tried the Korean spicy fries, which added a unique, satisfying twist to our meal with just the right amount of heat. Each dish was presented beautifully and came in generous portions that left us feeling more than satisfied.

Wir warten heute das erstmal dort und haben für 30 Sushi stücke insgesamt 2 Stunden gewartet.

Die bestellten Portionen kommen nicht zusammen oder in kurzen Zeitabständen. Wir mussten sogar für 6 Stücke Sushi (eine Portion) bis zu 45 Minuten warten.

Unsere letzten zwei Portionen kamen nicht an und der Kellner musste uns selbst fragen was wir nochmal bestellt hatten, statt er dies auf der Bestellung schaut. Obwohl er diese zu Beginn selbst aufgenommen hat.

Der Service ist sehr schlecht, obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll war. So ein Lokal müsste einen top Service garantieren, jedoch ist das Personal sehr langsam und nur zu zweit.

Die Speisekarte hat sehr wenig Auswahl und besteht aus einer Holzkladde mit dreckigen ausgedruckten Blättern. (Man hätte hier die Speisekarte neu ausdrucken können)

Zudem sind die Preise für diesen Service nicht gerechtfertigt. Erst kommt das Sushi auf den Tisch und nach langem warten die Teller und erneutem warten die Soja Sauce. Wir mussten vier mal nach Wasabi und nach Japanischer Mayonnaise fragen. Anschließend hat der Tisch, der nach uns bestellt hat, das Essen schneller und vollständig erhalten…

Wir haben anfangs wenig bestellt, um das Essen auszuprobieren und hätten gerne im Nachgang eine weitere Bestellung aufgegeben, jedoch hatten wir keine Lust erneut so lange auf das Personal und das Essen zu warten. Wir waren nicht wirklich satt, was bei dieser Wartezeit nicht verwunderlich ist.

Nach langem warten sind wir aufgestanden und haben vorne an der Kasse gezahlt, wobei wir dort erneut auf das Personal warten mussten- was bei so einem Lokal unüblich ist.

Wahrscheinlich hat das Personal, (uns junge Studentinnen), gegenüber den Geschäftsleuten und älteren Herrschaften nicht wirklich ernst genommen - aber dies haben wir rein subjektiv empfunden.
