From the standpoint of cuisine, this establishment deserves recognition. The menu demonstrates a high level of culinary execution: ingredients were fresh, preparation was precise, and flavors balanced in a way that reflects both training and care. The dishes that reached the table were consistently impressive, and the kitchen staff clearly deliver on the promise of refined seafood dining. Likewise, the service once seated was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm — qualities that, in themselves, could position this restaurant among the more reliable dining rooms in Düsseldorf.

Regrettably, the broader experience fails to uphold the same standard. Despite holding a reservation, we were subjected to an unreasonably long wait before being admitted, during which time it became apparent that no distinction was made between guests with prior bookings and those arriving without. Parties of different sizes and different reservation times were treated identically; there was no sense of order, priority, or respect for those who had planned in advance. The result was a crowded, tense waiting area that set an unfortunate tone for the evening.

This disregard for reservation integrity undermines the very notion of fine dining, where timing, ambiance, and hospitality should be as carefully managed as the food itself. For a restaurant positioning itself in the upper tier, it is not enough to plate exquisite dishes — the overall orchestration of the guest experience must rise to the same level.

In short: the kitchen excels, and the service staff are commendable, but the management of entry, reservations, and guest flow is profoundly flawed. It is an establishment I can recommend for its food, but one I cannot yet regard as a complete dining experience. Wir waren zu viert da und haben Combo 3 genommen, wobei einer von uns noch die Knoblauchpasta genommen hat. Seafood hat 5 Sterne verdient, wir hatten die Garlic Butter sauce bestellt und dazu noch extra Cajun Sauce - beide sehr empfehlenswert! Preis Leistung war ebenfalls voll nachvollziehbar. Die Knoblauchpasta hat genau so geschmeckt wie der Name es sagt, nach viel Knoblauch. Leider waren hier aber die Pasta ein paar Minuten zu wenig im Wasser und hatten noch einen ziemlichen Biss drauf.

Getränke sind dafür eher teuer, 9 Euro für eine Flasche stilles Wasser ist schon arg und Softgetränke sind zwar zahlbar aber “nur” 2dl.

Zum Service: Die nette Dame hat uns zu Beginn schon erklärt das alles per QR Code angeschaut und bestellt werden kann. Bezahlen musste man erst am Schluss vor dem Gehen. Sobald das Essen kam, hat niemand mehr nachgefragt ob alles passt, die Krabbenschere wurde dann auch erst gegen Schluss angeboten. Für uns war das aber nicht so schlimm, da wir uns schon gewohnt waren Krabben mit den Zähnen aufzumachen - für die, die es sich nicht gewohnt sind, wäre das jedoch unpassend gewesen.

Was ich eher problematisch fand, war dass wir vor dem Besuch mehrfach versucht haben anzurufen aber nie jemand ans Telefon kam. So habe ich per Email dann Kontakt aufgenommen, um zu Fragen ob Hunde erlaubt sind aber auch da kam keine Antwort. Wir sind dann einfach mal blind hingegangen und waren erleichtert zu sehen dass Hunde erlaubt sind. Wenn man reserviert ist in der Email auch eine andere Telefonnummer hinterlegt als auf der Internetseite aber schlussendlich hat bei keiner Nummer jemand geantwortet.

Fazit: Essen sehr schmackhaft und sehr empfehlenswert! Preislich für die Menge völlig in Ordnung. Service hat noch Potential zur Besserung....

This restaurant just opened a week ago, and they’re off to a strong start. Everything was great! I definitely recommend it. The staff is outstanding: friendly, attentive, and quick to fix issues. The kitchen mixed up crab with shrimp in our order, but it was resolved immediately with excellent customer service.

The only downside was the iced tea. For €9, the carafe was mostly ice and the ice tea barely filled a small cup. Not great value in my opinion.

Still, the overall experience was excellent, and I’m looking forward to...
