Why: racist remarks, rude service, asked for a bigger tip

Greek guy here. The food was wonderful, but the service was not up to par. An international group of students, two Greeks included, went there. Our waiter was very rude since we got there. When the food arrived, my excited friends took a photo of the plate with the variety of meat. Our waiter turned to them and said in English "China, Japan, photo?". I was dumbfounded. They acted like they didn't understand, and it made me feel terrible. After we asked for the bill, our waiter wanted to know why our tip was so little. He was so unfriendly, rude, exactly the opposite of what we expected when we set foot in a restaurant of my home country, a country so renowned for its hospitality and and warm and friendly demeanor. Our friends were all excited with the food, although they all felt uneasy with the waiter. After we paid, the same waiter came back. -"You didn't like the food?" -"We very much did, thank you. -"In Germany we usually leave a good tip when we like the food". After saying this, he set 70 cents on the table and left. None of my friends said a word. I'm afraid we won't be going back. I'm wishing the best to the rest of the people working there, they are truly great ambassadors of the Greek hospitality. However, we can't risk facing the same service. This waiter really...

In erster Linie ein schönes Lokal! Aber nach einer Beschwerde über den Tonfall und die unfreundliche Art eines Kellner würde ich im Beiseins des Geschäftsführers brutal attackiert und dass während ich meine Tochter auf den Arm hatte!!!! Es ereignete sich folgendermaßen... nach der Frage was denn sein Problem sei , entgegnete der Kellner ; wir sehen uns später!!! Während er dies sagte kam er mir bedrohlich nahe und hauchte mich mit seinem ausgeatmeten Nikotinresten an...( ich fand das sehr Risikohaft Corona bedient und zudem Ekelhaft weil es gestunken hat) und sagte dabei In einem abwertenden aggressiven Tonfall weg weg weg weg ...Meine Tochter WAR auf meinem Arm bekam Angst und klammerte sich um meinem Hals ... mir blieb nichts anders übrig als ihm mit meinem Ellenbogen fern zuhalten so nah war der schon!! Jeder und damit meine ich jeder Vater der eine Tochter hat kann mich wahrscheinlich nachvollziehen wie ich mich da gefühlt habe ...die Tochter klammert sich um deinem Hals weil sie Angst hat von deinem gegenüber!!! Eine Situation den ich niemandem wünsche! Ich finde egal in welcher Situation man sich befindet und wie hart die Lage ist und wie gestresst man ist , muss man aufjedenfall so eine Situation vermeiden, und sich an den Kodex halten!! Aber dieser Kellner hat sich an nichts gehalten und das IM Beisein des Geschäftsführers!! Es kam auch schon dann der erste linke Schwinger seitens des Kellners.., ich konnte der Ersten Faust knapp ausweichen aber er hat sofort nachgelegt ohne Skrupel dem Kind gegenüber den ich aufm Arm halte...wie ein wahnsinniger hat der zu geschlagen bis ich zu Boden ging mit dem Kind auf meinem Arm!! Meiner Meinung nach hat der Geschäftsführer total versagt!!!! Er stand unmittelbar daneben und hat zu geschaut wie sein wild gewordener Glatzköpfiger Kellner auf einem seiner Gäste einschlägt ohne ein Maß an gewissen und Skrupel der noch zudem ein Kind von 20 Monaten auf den Arm hält!!!! Ich ging mit dem Kind zusammen zum Boden hier kam dann die Helden tat des Geschäftsführer zur Show 💪🏼!!! Er hielt mir die noch eine frei gebliebene Hand noch fest während der Kellner mir die Luft weg gedrückte!!!! Nach der ganzen Sache sah ich den Kellner noch nochmal vor dem Lokal Stolz wie Oskar eine Zigarette Rauchen... es muss wahrscheinlich für ihn ein tolles Erlebnis gewesen auf Jemandem ein zu prügeln der ein Kind aufm Arm hält!👍👍👍🤮 Ich finde so etwas darf hier nicht passieren!!! Wir sind hier nicht in Griechenland und ich schon lange kein...

A real Greek tragedy!

We waited 1 hour for our order and 1 hour for our food to come! Starter and main dishes finally came..all together and everything was truly tasteless and extremely pricy ( 8 euro for a bottle of water and 21 for a small tasteless mussaka )

They fooled us with the wine, we asked the house wine and they served us a more expensive bottle of wine …and then they told us that the house wine was finish!

But The most disgusting thing was the waiter’s manner that when we asked about our food in a polite way he answer super impolite “ I only have 2 hands” and everything we asked ( example yo split the bill ) he was snorting all the time!

So if you wanna have a nice evening..please widely avoid this restaurant! The Greek people should be...
