Steakhouse Maremma — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

We ordered 3 ribeyes, one lamb chop, one sampler which included 4 meats, two large sampler appetizers and 3 bottles of wine. The service was extremely slow. We sat for around 25-30 minutes before someone took our drink and appetizer order. While we waited, a few waiters approached us to snag our menus before we ever ordered. We finished our appetizers long before our order was taken. After our meals finally arrived, it was disappointing to find dry meat. We wanted to order dessert but they ran out of everything we wanted. In fact, they only had two deserts left. We were quite disappointed. Once again, we waited a long time just to pay our bill. I've never had to wait so long to give money away. It was pathetic. In addition, the website says they accept American Express, their window says they accept American Express and the folder that they brought our bill in had the American Express logo on it - but they did not accept American Express. It was disappointing. The only way I'll return here is if someone really wants to go and if they are paying. It was not worth it to me. I would much rather go to Palito or Los Chicos. Even Svhwein Janes was better.

Food was ok but lacked flavour. Very basic for the money we paid. The service was terrible. Once we ordered and the food was served, the waiter stopped paying attention to us. We had intended on ordering desert but nobody bothered to ask us if we wanted to see the desert menu, order a coffee or another drink. My partner had to signal for the check and told the waiter that nobody checked on us once the dinner plates were cleared. The waiter's attitude was appalling. He snapped my partner's card from his hand, and when the payment went through, flung the card back on the table. He didn't have the manners or courtesy to hand the card back. Very disappointed at his lack of basic manners and decency. Clearly good customer service isn't important here.

Our impression was this place just wants your money, and doesn't care about treating customers with basic decency. Couldn't help but notice that the tables with young, pretty white girls got plenty of attention from our surly waiter however.

Don't waste your time or money here. We paid a lot of money to be treated...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Steakhouse Maremma and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, warm welcoming staff set the tone for an enjoyable meal.
