Ünlü Kebap — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I was craving for Dürüm one time waiting for ICE around Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, and found this amazing Kebap shop. And ever since, I have been visiting it every single week.

On my first visit, because I do not speak German, the shopkeepers gave me both Bulgur (I don't know is it tomato rice or something else) and normal rice to try without asking. (I only knew it afterwards that it's extra-hospitality because for my subsequent visits, if you order rice, then they give you normal rice only unless you ask for Bulgur or even half-half. As you can imagine from this, all the shopkeepers I met are extremely cheerful persons, and you will enjoy their spirit there.

I have on every occasion order 21. Lammspieß, especially when the normal rice are soaked with the juice of the lamb dices, or soaked with the juice of the grilled "sweet pepper?" or "banana pepper?", everything is so perfect! And tasting the Bulgur alone without any juice, sauce or meat is...

The meat in the döner was really well roasted, and it was tasty. The sauce was a bit watery - okay in taste, but watery. The bread pita was a bit raw - it could do well to roast it a bit before preparing the döner. The end product was nicely wrapped in a tin foil but eventually I got sauce all over my hands nonetheless. The prices were a bit higher than usual. NB: this review is coming from a Bulgarian, used to eating döner regularly. Also, we visited late in the evening, after attending a concert, and it may have been more crowded than expected by the personnel, thus the end-result turning out to be not so good, as usual (if we assume that this is not their usual...

Had döner sandwich with extra meat (no.4). Generous amount of meat. The döner was flavourful with well seasoned meat. However, the meat was too dry, and there was nothing else in the sandwich making up for the dryness. We may have visited the "wrong" time that the meat had been cooked too long.
