Hotel Dusseldorfer Hof — Hotel in Frankfurt

My stay at Hotel Düsseldorfer in Frankfurt in June 2024 was truly a beautiful experience, and I can highly recommend it for its blend of comfort and convenience. A standout aspect was the very helpful Indian staff at the reception, who made us feel incredibly welcome and at home.|The room we had was notably spacious, providing ample room to relax and unwind after busy days of exploring. The hotel's location is undoubtedly a big plus, with excellent public transport links right nearby. This made getting around Frankfurt incredibly easy, allowing us to travel late into the night without any issues.|While the immediate vicinity of Frankfurt Central Station (HBF) can have a slightly tricky reputation, requiring a bit of awareness, it's easily navigated. If you prefer to avoid the busiest part of the station area on foot, a short one-stop bus or tram ride from HBF will take you to a more comfortable spot near the hotel. Once you're aware of this minor point, the location truly proves to be very convenient. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Düsseldorfer and would happily choose it again for future visits...

Title: Massive Bathroom Leak Ruined My Bags, Laptop, and iPad – Horrible Hotel!

I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. The room we stayed in was in an appalling condition. The bathroom leaked so badly that water spread into the bedroom area. The leakage was so extreme that my travel bags, which I had placed on the floor, became completely soaked. Even my laptop and iPad were drenched – something I never imagined could happen in a “hotel room.”

Cleanliness and hygiene are nonexistent here. The floors were dirty, tiles broken, and the entire place smelled damp. To make matters worse, the lift was not working, so we had to haul heavy luggage up the stairs by ourselves. When we approached the staff for help, they were rude, unhelpful, and acted as if we were bothering them.

This hotel has no sense of guest care, no hygiene, and no proper maintenance. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. Please save yourself the stress and avoid this place...

DO NOT COME TO THIS “HOTEL”. Do not waste your time or money here. This “hotel” is full of druggies, in a bad area and the rooms are not cleaned well. I told them the sink wasn’t working and that a foul smell was coming and I asked to change the room. They would not change my room and then LIED and said housekeeping would come to look in 5 minutes. They never came. The woman at the desk has a terrible attitude. The elevators smell like smoke. I had to give them FIVE EUROS for a HAIRDRYER. What hotel doesn’t have a hairdryer already? And why do I need to put a deposit down? Is the hotel clientele so bad that they think I will steal their hairdryer? When I checked in, they told me to pay the tourist tax but charged me €8.50 for my stay. They said it was because I had two people. The overcharged me to get extra money. They said it was €2 a night for the charge. So why was it €8.50 then? Do not come here. They are liars, scammers, the place is unclean and the area...
