This place is one of the best in Frankfurt to not only experience traditional hessian food but also to sit in a tranquil and cosy place with nice people. The crowd is mixed and international, from people living in the area coming there very often to people popping in from work or just to have a refreshing Äppler (also one of the best in Frankfurt). Apart from the traditional cuisine, there are always contemporary or new interpretations on the menu and the quality is always superb. I am a regular here and this is not only due to the good food and nice interior, but also to the unique and authentic, friendly staff that does the best to keep the customers happy.
