Hama Sushi — Restaurant in Frankfurt

2 Stars because I liked the ambience. The staff was not attentive at all. There were only two other tables occupied when we came in but we still weren't attended to. After waiting for 5 minutes, we asked for the menu card. We took 5 minutes to decide what we wanted and waited another 10 minutes for someone to take the order. Since no one came, we tried to ask them to take the order, but none of them would even look at us when we tried to call them! We decided to just leave. Even then, no one turned their heads to ask us why we're leaving. Really...

I really enjoy Hama Sushi and order here often. The lunch special is great: €7,50 for 4 sushi options (meaning up to 24 pieces of sushi) plus tea and miso soup. They also take off up to an hour of parking costs in the garage across the street. I must say I have seen better prepared sushi- in terms of how it looks, it often looks messy- but that takes nothing away from the taste. We often order food here in the evenings for take away.
