This is the illustrious Lufthansa First Class Lounge. I wish it would be easier to find, though.. 😀 When you exit Terminal A, where you most likely will be dropped by the Porsche that picked you up from your arriving flight, you have to turn to the left and start walking for about three quarters of a mile. Better check out the route on the internet, depending on your arrival gate at the Frankfurt Terminals. Once you arrived you are assigned a personal assistant who takes your passport and takes care of the boarding formalities, after the explanation of the Terminal itself. Then you will go through security and I promise you no lines at all. 😀 The Terminal is a composition of pure luxuriousness, even a bit on the edge of decadence. Simply great. It is very spacious, has a magnificent restaurant (had the beef filet there, but they are famous for their schnitzel with potatoe salad) and a vast set of drinks. You can even take a bath there, together with your complementary own rubber duck (you have to ask for it). That they offer very luxurious showers and mamor bathrooms I will not even mention. When your time of boarding has come you will be driven with a Porsche directly to your flight. The First Class Terminal, which has a brandnew caterer, is simply...
Read moreTerrible staff that is in charge of seating. There is a big sign that asks to wait to be seated and yet none of the 3 staff members cared to seat anyone. They were chit chatting along while there was a long line of people patiently waiting while there were plenty of tables available. Yet they left them wait. A family that looked tired and hungry even had to leave because they were not given a table all while there was more than 5 table available. Inexcusable lack of service. One of the waiters who was supposedly in charge of seating (skinny, dark hair, late 30s) even yelled rudely at a family “STOP!!” He really should not be in service. Finally sadly the Goulash I had tasted like it came out of a box. Really do not recommend this place. Terrible! I hope the management reads this and hires the right staff. The business is certainly loosing lots of money with empty available tables and a lazy staff that lets people wait and walk away...

However, the service left a lot to be desired. My waiter, Dennis, repeatedly slammed the plates and drinks onto my table with noticeable force. At first, I thought it was just a one-off moment, but it happened with every item he brought over. I made an effort to be polite and thanked him each time, but the behavior didn’t change. It was puzzling and honestly made the experience uncomfortable.
Despite the poor service, Hausmann’s remains one of the better food options at the airport. If you’re willing to overlook the attitude, the meal itself...
