Hermann's — Restaurant in Frankfurt

This could be great. But why wasn't it? So I went to this place and I only saw menu's to order. I asked the employer if I could have a hot dog without the rest of the menu and a coca cola, he said "you can" and he went to do something else. I waited, when he returned I said wich hot dog I wanted and I pointed at it and again asked for a coca cola. The first thing he brought was a potato salad and went to grab a beer and I said "I don't drink beer" and he said "you asked for the menu!". I specifically asked if I could only have just the hot dog and he said "you can"!. He delivered me the hot dog acting mad and never gave me the coca cola. I was tired of it so I just paid it. 7.50€ for the hot dog. I know food in airports are expensive so I didn't complain. I really enjoyed the hot dog. But service...

I have to admite, Frankfurt is definitely not one of my favorite Airports in the world and even in Germany I would prefer Munich over Frankfurt all the time, but flying LH means you have to deal with Frankfurt. However, I found this place close to the gate my connection flight was going and in case you just want something smal (e.g. Brezel) and a nice draft beer, that's a place I could recommend. The guys have been very friendly, even to those who needed an hour to decide what to choose. It's nothing fancy, more like "quick and dirty" but in my opinion better than other places around. On my connecting flight from Frankfurt to Gdańsk, Poland I was very pleased to catch a coffee break at Hermann’s cafe. Their wursts sandwiches and croissants looked very tempting and I wish my belly was hungry . Next time I am definitely coming in to eat! This place is small , yet very appealing & clean and convenient . Their stuff , especially Sebastian was very friendly and professional. I am a huge coffee lover and very picky. Their americano was sooo good , I ended up having 2 :) So if you are in a hurry catching your flight and forgot your cup of java, go get theirs.
