Im Herzen Afrikas — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I should have taken photos of this place and my food, but unfortunately I was in a hurry and forgot about it! Nevertheless, a unique and beautiful spot in Frankfurt that delivers my favorite African cuisine! First off - I have to mention the beautiful beautiful waitress that was serving my food, she has to get a pay rise! Unfortunately I am extending bad with names, but she was tall, with glasses and beautiful Scandinavian looks. She made me fall in love with this place after a tiring day in a different city, because of how caring, positive and kind she was! She even treated me to a very very delicious drink before I left, mentioning that it is alcohol free (which was so thoughtful of her, cause she could see I don’t drink alcohol !) I know that being a waiter or waitress is VERY STRESSFUL and u barely have time to think about clients and take ur time with them - but she somehow managed it and all her work as well! And I for sure will come back again with my husband or friends for the drinks and her beautiful energy!) (My husband is a fan of interesting drinks) Coming to the food - I got my favorite a platter with Injera and a mix of African dishes for 17-18 euros (reasonable price for the portion) and it was deliciouss! The design of interiors is something else! They have real sand in one of the halls and u can feel the vibes of Africa in every detail! Thoughtful and atmospheric design! The worst experience ever in Frankfurt! This was the second time that I went to this place. The service staff are extremely rude! We awaited there for 90min, and still we didn't get our food! When we asked: 'what happened to our order?' The tall guy (who was very arrogant and proud of himself!) said: 'I don't have time to check what happened to your order!'. And finally, we said we cannot waste our time anymore and we want to leave! and they just said: 'You are welcome!' Without saying something like: 'sorry for the delay in preparing your food' or something similar...

I will never try this place because they don't respect people! I don't mind to wait for my food, but I get very angry when I'm being treated disrespectful!

Also, the tables and chairs are so uncomfortable and I assume it will be a nightmare to eat food there!

Respect your customers, otherwise you will lose them... I'll definitely spread the words among my friend and relatives to not waste their time at this awful place where service staff don't respect people's time...
