Brera Serviced Apartments Frankfurt Oper — Hotel in Frankfurt

I had a great time staying at the Brera Serviced Apartments in Frankfurt!

What I enjoyed: Amazing location! It's at walking distance from the main train station and super close walking distance to the main attraction points in Frankfurt. Also, there are many stores and restaurants close by. Super nice brunch place right across the street. Easy and convenient check-in. Everything is electronic, comprehensive and safe. I received the access key through an app, used it to enter the building and then created a keycard on the device on the hallway. Comfortable and stylish apartment! We found everything we needed and more. Honestly, it's very suitable for longer stays as well, because you have a kitchen with everything you need to cook and store food. Helpful and friendly hosts! We didn't need to have much contact, but there was always someone downstairs to whom we could go for help. We had some questions about the city tax, for instance, which they were very helpful with. Also, I forgot a piece of clothing in the apartment when I checked out, and the hosts were kind enough to help me...

Advantages： Close to the station: Approximately 8-10 minutes walk, very convenient. In the city center: Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Elevator available: No problem with luggage handling. Well-equipped kitchen: Includes a dishwasher. Clean room, comfortable bed, warm and pleasant air conditioning.

Disadvantages： No staff at the front desk upon arrival (around 6:00 PM): A sign on the door instructed self-check-in with a password, but I did not receive any email. I had to ask a passerby to help me call for assistance, and they still told me to use a password. Just when we were at a loss, someone came out from inside, and I was finally able to enter. I received an email with the password only after I checked in. This experience was truly terrible! No signal on the TV after turning it on. The showerhead holder in the bathroom was broken: The showerhead couldn't stay in a fixed position and kept sliding down. Only one small bottle (about 50ml) of shampoo and body wash was provided for two people staying for three nights, which was very...

This is an excellent location with really nice apartments! There is so much within walking distance and its right next to the main train station. Plus they were prompt to help when we made requests. However, we did have a couple issues that prevent me from giving a full 5 stars.

First, the self check-in is great! But is behind a locked door... They should provide customers with a code to get through the door. Our phones couldn't make calls. We got lucky that someone already staying there was coming back and let us in. Second, our room was SO hot (when it wasn't hot outside!) and the AC in our room didn't work. We asked them to fix it but they said they would send someone and didn't. Unfortunately, the building is right next to the tram line and many bars so it was always too noisy to leave the windows open at night. Third, the location is very noisy....
