A very appealing Iranian restaurant on Münchener Str., near Willy Brandt Platz.
It is always quite busy, the staff always friendly and there is even a fresh bread station where you can buy just the bread.
The menu offers something for everyone and is clearly laid out. Today I opted for the lamb skewers with rice.
i didn't have to wait long for the food. two lamb skewers with rice arrived, accompanied by half a grilled tomato and a quartered piece of bread. Unfortunately, there was no sauce, so I had to order it separately.
I have to admit that for 14 euros, I found the food a bit uncharitable. No sauce, no salad, just two skewers with rice, a quarter of bread and a half tomato.
The skewers themselves were a bit tough and the rice tasted bland. The yoghurt sauce with mint and cucumber, however, was extremely tasty.
For the price, I find the plate presentation and sides to be poor. If it was just the taste, I would give it a chance, as you can simply have a bad day, but the overall picture doesn't fit.
Frankfurt has restaurants who do provide the same food with a better taste and price.

Read moreIt was my second visit to this restaurant. Generally the food is good, however this time there were two issues with my main course. First I found a hair in my rice and then there was a BIG FLY in the sauce of the lamb stew. The young blonde waitress was kind and apologized. However the further complaint handling was a disaster. A new dish was brought without an apology by one of the more senior people from the kitchen. He just said: “We made it again from scratch.” That goes without saying! When I asked for the bill, I was charged the full price. The right thing to do would have been to not charge for the main course with the fly and hair or at the very least offer a free dessert and not charge for my coke. This m tarnished my entire experience. The food itself is tasty but they really shouldn’t be this stingy, especially because the food is not that cheap and they recently substantially increased the price of a lot of items...
Read moreThis Persian spot? Delicious. One of my friends told me she hits this place every time she's in town for work and honestly, I couldn't agree more. Totally get why it's her go-to.
The homemade lemonade? Absolute bomb. Super refreshing, just the right amount of sweetness might be worth coming here for that alone. If you love lamb, you're in for a treat. They know what they're doing. Their falafel and hummus? On point.
Creamy, crispy, flavorful all the good stuff. The grilled veggies were done perfectly too just enough char to get that savory, roasted smell that makes your mouth water.
Also gotta shout out the small but genius detail: they've got a sink outside the bathrooms so you can wash your hands without playing hide and seek with the restroom. Love that.
Atmosphere and lighting were great, super chill but still felt classy. Definitely a spot worth coming back to business...
