Terrible place not caring for guests

Recently, I was there with a friend. He asked for a second glass of red wine. The waiter (about 1,90m, black beard) obviously poured wine from three different bottles in the glas. Upon request, je admitted but said, it's "probably" anyway the same wine. We asked and he said, he didn't know for sore but probably. After my friend said he won't acceped the wine-cocktail and asked for a proper glass of ONE wine, the waiter turned somewhat hostile and said "Yes, but you don't need to give me that looks" - My sorry but my friend is just looking how he looks, so what? there is no need to turn hostile. Also, the coffe is not that great. Better alternatives are even Sullivan, Bunca Coffee, Roomers Bar, Kinly Bar, O'Reilly's Pub, amp ... all close by. Plank just lost credit and I won't recomment...

I got ignored waiting in the bar and was only served when there was no one left around me. The Korean bartender directly waved people behind me to be served. When I protested, he said they all have been in the bar for 2 hours. And he complained about my entitlement? (Does anyone not go to a bar expecting to be served respectfully and equally?) I need to repeat my order 3 times before he responded. He then side eyed me and thrust a half glass of Negroni without ice cubes. When I protested, he took the glass away and pushed me to leave.

Es war einmal…

Es war einmal mein Lieblingscafé. Hervorragenden Kaffee, herrliche Pastéis de Nata (immer noch!) und ab und an gab es Kuchen - und dieser war einmalig! Jetzt - und seit ca. 6 Mon. - der Kaffee schmeckt nicht mehr. Andere Sorte? Fast schon widerwärtig und ungenießbar. Es gibt eine Kuchenvitrine; die Kuchen erinnern mich an das Frankfurt der 80er J., (Retro muss hier aufhören!) und die Gebäckarten aus dem ehemaligen Jugoslawien und DDR oder einfach Länder östlich von Deutschland gelegen (bis zur Grenze des geographischen Europas). Unverständlich - wer macht/backt diese Kuchen? Das sind Kombinationen, die extrem daneben sind. Wo bleibt der spanische Mandelkuchen - schlicht und genial… Zur Ambiente: Wer es existentialistisch mag - ich z.B. :-) - der ist hier am richtigen Platz. Auch wenn die hohen Decken und nudity zu einem sehr laut-schallenden, ohrenbetäubenden Erlebnis führen können - ist abhängig von der Fröhlichkeit der Mitarbeiterinnen und Kundinnen.

Service/Mitarbeiter: cool sein ist alles; von Fotomodells auf dem Laufsteg erleben wir ja, dass Lächeln nicht erwünscht ist. Häufig halten sich die Angestellten wohl für Modells?

Ich kann hier nicht mehr hin, leider, wünsche aber ein weiteres. erfolgreiches Bestehen...
