CHILINH Sushi-Restaurant — Restaurant in Frankfurt

The food is good enough for me to have a business dinner. It is not a wow but Frankfurt is not the peak of gourmet, literally everyone can start a restaurant on the level of Asian street food. I asked my client to go to this restaurant for dinner on Sunday. It was crowded in the end of this L shape restaurant. A group of 20 people soaked the oxygen out of the end of the L thus it was hot and sticky air. We moved to opposite of the bar - with time it became better and I suspect the air conditioning does not work properly, in May it is still acceptable. The petite service girl was attentive, and maybe a bit too attentive - we were there about 1.5 hours and she came four times to ask whether we need more, whether we finished our plates, etc. This is a sign for restaurants to shush away customers. we paid for sea weed and a bowl and a curry plus a 1-litre water plus a limo and Coke Zero for 61 euro roughly. For business meals on Kaiserstr. it was fine - yet I would not go there for hungry tummy.

Overall, it was a decent dinning experience though due to the annoying over-friendly asking, I would honesty 3 stars.

Service at restaurants may want to go for a patience, and manner training, because these confusing service practices are getting common I guess due to lack of...

I really don't like leaving negative reviews but this experience was so bad I can't help it. Me and my friend waited for an entire hour after ordering, and only when we asked how our order was coming along they 'checked' and just brought out the starters. It took even longer to get the rest of our order and then they even put something we didn't order on our bill while they forgot something we did order. When we went to pay, one employee only made a few weak excuses that they were short on staff that evening, but it didn't feel like a genuine apology. Honestly, it seemed like with the amount of people they had, if they'd shown more initiative towards all customers, it wasn't even that busy. Several people around us literally walked out because no one came to take their order after longer than half an hour, and of the people that did leave after finishing their meal, the tables were left dirty at least as long as that. I had an amazing experience at the sushi restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
