This restaurant is not just about dining; it's an experience, one that perfectly caters to date nights or lively gatherings with friends.
LA Mex Lounge captures the essence of a chic Mexican retreat, with warm lighting and tasteful décor that creates a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. This setting, combined with soft background music, makes it an ideal spot for an intimate date night, where couples can enjoy a serene dining experience.
The authenticity of the food is remarkable. Each dish is a testament to traditional Mexican cuisine, crafted with attention to detail and a passion for flavor. From the classic tacos and enchiladas to the more unique offerings like mole poblano, the menu promises a gastronomic adventure. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are bold and beautifully balanced, ensuring that each bite transports you to the heart of Mexico.
Service at LA Mex Lounge is commendable. The staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, contributing significantly to the overall dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to provide recommendations make the meal even more enjoyable, especially for those unfamiliar with Mexican cuisine.
While the cost is above average, it's justified by the quality of food, service, and ambiance. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience that goes beyond just eating. It's about immersing oneself in Mexican culture and cuisine.
A highlight of the beverage menu is the Mexican Mule, my personal go-to drink. It's a refreshing and well-balanced cocktail, perfect for complementing the rich flavors of the dishes.
In conclusion, LA Mex Lounge in Frankfurt is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic Mexican dining experience in a setting perfect for both romantic and social occasions. The combination of delicious cuisine, excellent service, and a charming ambiance makes it well worth the visit, despite the slightly higher...
Read moreWe walked into the restaurant and it was okay, pretty good vibes, a bit dark inside which was fine. There were two servers on staff and a man behind the bar. There honestly might as well have been just the bartender because the service was abysmal. Not only was it incredibly slow, but the main man who was waiting on us was so RUDE. He had a nonchalant and arrogant attitude throughout our entire meal. He kept chatting to the other server on staff while we tried making eye contact to order, and he even took a call (where he was laughing and seemed relaxed) outside for over 5mins while we were trying to get the bill. Every time we had to ask the bartender to call the server over. We tried to order extra chips (tortilla), whilst pointing at the "nacho" part of the menu, and he came to our table with fries, to which we said thats wrong sorry we ordered tortilla chips - he said no you ordered chips and these are chips, the other chips are nachos (nachos have toppings, regular tortilla chips do not). Incredibly rude while saying it too!!
It was honestly a waste of our last meal there. The food was very one note (not bland but the same taste all throughout, nothing special). One thing I will commend: the portion sizes, they were huge and good for what you pay for. And the bartender, he was on top of things and made a good Capri Berry cocktail.
If you're wanting crap service and okay food, this is the place for you. If not,...
Read moreIn the restaurant, there were about four customers, and we waited 45 minutes for our food. In the meantime, the waitress was loudly arguing with someone from the staff. It was very unpleasant. The nachos were store-bought, some salsa from Rewe, topped with what seemed like cheapest Edam cheese, which turned it into a compact concrete slab. I called the waitress over to ask how one is supposed to eat this, as nachos should be picked up chip by chip, but this couldn't even be cut with a steak knife. I had her take it away and canceled the burrito order because they brought one to the customer next to us, and at first look, it looked like something I wouldn't eat even if I were paid to, let alone if I had to pay for it. The manager came over, and together with the waitress, they apologized, offered a drink on the house, and something else to eat, which was a nice of them but we refused. Even based on the photos shared by other customers, they simply don't know how to prepare Mexican food here, which is a shame for so called Mexican restaurant. We paid only for the...
